I am writing this to alert anyone considering dong business with ABCHI. Although I am not directly involved with this company I do have colleagues that I have been trying to assist that have been through the ringer.
There are multiple lawsuits that are in progress both in the USA and Canada. Bill Redfern and Arne Tjerno whom I have met on a few occasions are ""franchise experts"" so they say. That is the farthest thing from the truth. Their documents are incomlete at best and they misrepresent the opportunity at every turn. They award territories and then have those territory developers try to award individual units. This has proven to be a huge flop with the only mission to be to essentially fleece unsuspecting investors and line Bill Redferns pockets. When your turnover is more than 50% you have problems. Couple that with the multiple lawsuits that have been filed for numerous underhanded business tactics and it doesn't take long to figure out these guys are bad news.
As in every business venture you need to do your homework. A franchised business generally has a much higher success rate and sometimes people go in with blinders on particularly if there isn't a huge sticker price. Always, always, always ask to speak to ALL of the existing franchisees and ensure the FDD is current and accurate.
