Poured our new driveway less than 2 months ago. Called owner when first crack noted, was suppose to come out to look at crack but never called or showed up.
Then second crack noted in same area as the first. I kept calling the owner and would not get an answer. Finally noticed an unfamilar number showed up on my phone but no message was left.
Called number and it was owner, told him about second crack. He got an attitude with me and he stated concrete cracks. I ask him if he would at least look at it and see if it could be sealed or something? He stated no and that he does not warranty concrete and there is nothing else that can be done.
I ask the owner why he was getting an attitude with me since he was being so short and seemed irritated, he stated he wasn't and hung up on me.
This man had no problem taking my cash and was very nice to me then. He could have at least looked at the driveway since it it still fairly new, but he had no interest in discussing it with me.
I would not recommend him for concrete work. A professional person that cares about the work he or she does would not have got an attitude and I feel would have at least looked at the area to make sure there is not a problem that could cause further cracking.
Yes concrete cracks but a contractor should at least be willing to speak to you about an issue when it occurs this soon. He left jagged edges around the driveway, the driveway has low spots that hold water. One area is higher than rest, just feel ripped off again by another contractor.
