They lead me to believe that they had reviewed my resume from indeed.com that I was eligible for the job they were offering cause I met the requirements through email. They asked me to download yahoo messenger and contact them as soon as possible for an interview. When I downloaded the messenger and got in contact with this so called person I found it strange that they were trying to interview me online and not in person I was very skeptical about it all but I wanted to hear the offers I was curious when I was claimed hired & told I would be paid 25.75 an hour and health insurance etc was all given through the companies expense I felt it was a scam all too good to be true especially when he said I would receive a check by mail for the equipment I will need to work with when asked if I had a bank account? I said yes but I didn't know my bank information why couldn't I get paid through Mail ? What I am concerned about is they know my personal information like name, age, where I live all that was in my resume I'm also concerned about them scamming other innocent people I don't think it's fair at all that people like me go on indeed.com searching for a job because I just moved out here to Florida and I need a job and this is how they get you. Watch where you put your resume If it's not a legit company don't do it. These scammers out here are doing the most for money.

Scam Alert!!!

Just got a text message from Mr. Dennis English, the Director of AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. Weird message: ack if interested..?, Reply B. What? Anyway, I texted back and asked where the company is located, where he found my resume, and also asked him to email me more details to my email address. No answer. It sounds really fishy so I searched about the AAC and found this link. Totally believe it's a scam. By the way, the phone number he used to contact me is 518-460-1975. Be alert!

After wasting a few hours of my time interacting through Text Messages followed by Yahoo Messenger communications, and, unfortunately, giving information about me and my experience in response to an invitation for employment pre-screening, I conducted an online search to find information about the "Software Needed" as described in the job offer. I had never before heard the names of any of the software listed in the exchange after "being hired" through the screening process. That is when I found this Ripoff Report website, as this was the first search engine "hit" that came up as a result of my inquiry.

"LIST OF SOFTWARES: Agilent version A.6.1.1, A.7.1.1 and A.7.1.2 Affymetrix version MAS 5 (5.0, 5.1), GCOS (1.0, 1.1), and dChip 1.3 GenePix version 3.0, 4.1, and 5.0 NimbleScan version 2.1.16 SpotReader version 1.0 Peach Tree version 2011 Premium US Patent Single Users Pack BS 1 Accounting software"

I found: ripoffreport.com/r/Christine-Donelly/internet/Christine-Donelly-Christine-Donelly-BH-Lighting-and-general-supplyIncMs-Melissa-Smith-766797

The above entitled Ripoff Report is over 3 years old. I am here right now to report that the same scam is being perpetrated today using another company website as the anchor for the scam: aactechnologies.com/career/contact-us

Reading the Ripoff Report on Christine Donelly, I was immediately embarassed for I had "fallen" for the same line of questioning. Fortunately, I did not have a bank account number to reveal when asked by "Mr. Rogers" during the close of the interaction.

Here is the scammer's introduction:

employmentdesk33:‎ My name is Mr Peter Rogers 63years old and who is the Hiring Maneger of (AAC Technologies Holdings Inc). I would personally like to invite you to become part of our team performing work-from-home jobs we supply. I am located at Sunbury, PA . I would be the one to brief you about the position and the company.

Please do not fall for this scam!

employmentdesk33:‎ You will receive the check very soon so i want you to be on look out for it,report online as soon as you have it so i can give you further instructions and i will refer you to the vendor you will be purchasing the materials from, do you understand?

employmentdesk33:‎ Since we are affiliated with different companies and there some companies that are owing us, the check might be issued out from one of these companies to serve as our refund, is that okay As soon as the check its been issued out to you i will notify you and provide you with the tracking number so you can keep track and know when it will get to you okay

Me:‎ Okay.

employmentdesk33:‎ Once you receive the check you are needed to have it deposited into your bank account ,Then the funds will be credited and available in your account for cashout the next day morning....

employmentdesk33:‎ You are to set up an account by tomorrow morning

Me:‎ I will.

employmentdesk33:‎ That will be all for today,i need you to get online tomorrow morning 10am your time for more updates okay?

Me:‎ Yes.

###

The rest of our conversation follows the same script as reported on Ripoff Reports "Christine Donelly" found at the link mentioned above.

What these scammers are attempting to do is to excite the victim into giving out banking information. Then, the checks they send will not be good or valid checks. They will somehow manage to get the unsuspecting victim to buy the software from one of their companies using the victim's own money.

Thank you for this opportunity to warn the Public.

This company will text you after applying for a job post of theirs. They will ask you to communicate with them via yahoo messenger only. The hiring interview/ process is awkward and runs fast.

Once hired (within a few minutes) they say they will send you a check to purchase equipment needed for the job. The check is sent overnight with an am out exceed 1k. They ask you to deposit the check in your account and then use that money to purchase the equipment.

The check will not go through at an ATM and much less with a teller. The check is fake. If you inform them the check is not accepted there they ask you to try another branch.
