Our dishwasher went out and Action Appliance came out same day. They quoted $540 to replace the pump. We had company coming and needed it fast so agreed and paid in advance (I know, I know, right here we've shown we were clearly suckers).

I'd have been fine being overcharged if they held up their end of the bargain. The part was supposed to be in the next couple of days and they'd call us as soon as it arrived to schedule an immediate appointment. After about 4 days we finally started calling them. About day 6 they finally answered and scheduled an appointment for a couple days later. They no showed that appointment (with a 4 hour window).

We rescheduled for another couple days out. They no showed that appointment. I called and requested a refund. They said no and obnoxiously said I was under contract and they were "trying to fulfill their obligation". After going ballistic, they said they would send a tech that evening to do the job. Nobody came and did the job that night.

Finally, the next day they sent someone out in the afternoon. He installed a $100 part, spent a little more than an hour and they were off with my $540. I guess at this point I'm happy they did any work after taking my money and never showing up. Do not use these people. Worst company I have ever, ever dealt with.

I saw a Action Appliance Inc. work truck parked in front of my house. They appeared to be servicing something for my neighbor. I left a note on the truck's window, requesting help for my washing machine. The technician, Tyler, very kindly visited me and diagnosed my washing macine's problem. He charged me UP FRONT $210.11 because he said his credit card charging machine was broke (so he would have to input all the information by hand). Tyler promised "next day" repair. The next day came and went. Late in the afternoon, I saw his work truck again. Tyler stopped by to tell me that the parts needed were not at their warehouse so it would be Monday or Tuesday ("at the latest") to get the parts and effect fix-its. I called today, Monday, and Teresa could not even find a tracking number. Even though my credit card has already been charged the $210.11 -- they certainly are fast at taking their money -- and the warehouse is in Denver, Teresa said it could might be Thursday, but she DID'NT KNOW because she couldn't find a tracking number. I want my washing machine fixed!! I do NOT recommend this company because it seems as though their office people do not know what they are doing.
