I have to agree with all the other reports written about Mani Adeli...right on the money! Mani was one the absolute worst employers i've ever had. Luckily I was fired when I decided to take an approved vacation - and luckily i had been warned a week prior to that by my manager that Mani was "in firing mode" (starting with the office females first). Apparently I was "losing files" around the office, which was a complete lie.
I recall my first experience behind closed doors with Mani and my manager where he proceeded to tell me how I did not smile enough at him (the man who told me to keep my head down when I worked). He then proceeded to tell me that, "You need to be a ray of sunshine everytime you walk though that door, making all of my attorney's happy." HAHA. Don't recall reading that in my job description.
in fact, i had excellent relationships with all of the attorney's in the office and actually did smile a lot. He was too busy to notice because he only cared about badgering other employees to the point of people believing they were actually a worthless human being. i even recall one my coworker telling me about the time she informed Mani that she needed to take a day off because her mother was sick. And guess what he did? He made her cry by making her feel bad by constantly reminding her that her mother was ill, and calling her worthless. He then proceeded to ask her why she was crying.
Anyway, I'm surprised this guy still has a business. He is absolutely mad. DON'T work here, stay unemployed and find something else!
