I purchased 2 air filters and was given a rebate form at purchase. I was also informed by cashier I was entitled to a rebate. After applying online I was rejected . Reason was there are no rebates anymore?
Advertised brakes for sale on eBay to fit a Mazada Miata 02. Brakes were wrong size and shape. Told me I ordered the wrong part, but will take them back. Because it was so heavy, I shipped it back via regular mail. Needless to say, they never got it. If you look at their comments over the 6 months on eBay, I am the third person to report the same problem. Watch these guys!
I purchased a set of ceramic brake pads. I was not going to purchase the more expensive set, but the employee pointed out it was a very good set and I get a $15 mail in rebate. I made the purchase specifically because of the rebate. I completed the rebate online and actually forgot about it for a couple months, until I came across the receipt. I just called and entered my information. I was told my rebate had been declined. I research online and come to find out, THIS IS VERY COMMON WITH ADVANCE AUTO! ADVANCE AUTO DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PARTS I'VE PURCHASED FROM YOUR COMPANY! NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF, BUT FIXING FRIENDS' CARS! i WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN ONE OF YOUR PLACES AGAIN! I WANT MY MONEY!
I bought a product from Advance Auto Parts that had a rebate on 4/22/14 and filled out the rebate form online. I forgot about for a while and checked on the status on 11/08/14. When I checked using their tracking number I see that my rebate was 'Denied' with no explanation. I called to see why and all I get is a computer voice with no option to actually talk to anyone. Now I want to know why it was Denied. I completed everything required on their rebate fileing site. Seems like everyone else complaining is correct-
Purchased a product with Advance Auto in Allen Park, Michigan with a promised rebate. Even the link to check on the rebate turned out to be unavailable. My thoughts are this company does this intentionally just to draw you to purchase with no intentions of ever honoring the rebate. I will no longer do business with this company nor will my employees and I recommend that you proceed with caution. A company without integrity isn't worth doing business with.
