Before you do any business with this person please read two other complains(one on BBB and one on Ripoff) besides mine. My experience is very similar to the other which leads me to conclusion that this is a scamming operation-Mr.Notek takes deposit than gives you a little info every week or two for the first month or two so you would think he`s is working,he will even give you delivery dates which he will never fulfill,you`ll hear a lots of excuses and problems he accounter.. time goes by and than communication starts to fade away... and he`s hoping you`ll never do anything about it-
As of January 2015 i have requested full reimbursement as per contract terms- nothing happens, Here are extracts from Mr.Notek responses 07/23/14-"Yes, just playing catch-up, I need 2 more days. Again, I appologize for the delay. It's just that my contractors are very vocal, with time constraints. I have one project, I lost completely, and its costing one of my contractors $5,000 per month, as he is a flipper and buys at very high rates. But I assure you, you will be happy with this next round. I have been working on it here and there. Also, this lot is very challenging to get everything you want to work, in the area we want to put the house in. After I get this other project done, I am on yours 100%. Thank you. Daniel" 09/14/14-"It getting close, going through change notes with engineer on sections and details." 10/09/14-"Yes, sorry for the delay, please believe me, it's almost done. I have had to do a bunch of details the engineer wanted to see. I was held up just a few days this past week because of relatives out visiting. I'll send over more drawings for your review tomorrow. 90% complete. Thank you. Daniel " 10/14/14-"I had two appointments today that went on longer than expected today. So I'm still working on cover sheet. The site plan text did not scale right, so I'm having to go each text and remake. There's hundreds of the spot elevations, so that is taking me a bit of time to remake those." 10/29/14-"I don't know what is wrong with my structural engineer, he's never taken so long on plans. So I sent the plans over to my backup guy I've used before. I should hear back from him later today. I will let you know asap. Again my appologies,
3 weeks and still he's not done." 11/21/14-"I appologize for the delay. Last week was entirely my fault, as I had to move and it was just me. I spent 5 days moving, not far but just did not have the time to get every thing done I wanted. The engineer had some noted changes that I got back to him once again. He kept telling me this week he'd have everthing to by wednesday, but now its friday. I think he'll have plans to me today. I want to be fair. I'm going to take $500.00 off my fee, as I feel bad about this dragging out. I hope that helps. The plans are done on my end. Just waiting for engineering. 11/27/14-"I'm trying to get final stuff from eng. tomorrow. He said he is working." Nothing done,nothing completed-be aware!!!!
