On July 7th, 2014 “Advance Kleenin Company” offered my husband a contract with 100% guarantee to find him a job in the Security Guard field with a paid of $16.00 to $18.00 per Hour which included the following benefits (Vacation, Health, Dental and Life Insurance, Transportation and much more) as indicated on their contract. Even though the offer sounded too good to be true the fact that the company has on their contract and on their web side original logos indicating that named brand companies such as “Allstate Insurance” are part of their offer made us comfortable enough to trust them.
An agent by the name of Michael Anthony called my husband requesting of him payment ASAP in the amount of 69.99. Advising him also that there were only two position available in the Miami Areas as a Security Guard at that moment and that if he wanted to take advantage of the great opportunity, he needed to make the payment immediately, the same day and before 5 PM and We did.
The company never contacted us after the payment was made and after we had submitted the executed contract as instructed.
Since, I was the one that made the payment on my husband behalf; I originated the first call a week later to find out the progress of the application and to my surprise 5 Minutes later and after my phone conversation concluded with a Mr. Michael Anthony, Adviser in the Contracting Dept.; We received an email acknowledging that my husband’s contract along with the results of his Criminal records had been received and that the records showed that my husband had no criminal record. The email also indicated that the contract was in progress and instructed us “NOT TO” contact them that instead they will be contacting us and for us to be patient. Well we did for a while.
According to the executed contract the company was supposed to be contacting us 7 to 10 Business days after receiving the cleared Back Ground ck with the job offer. Well needless to say that such expected called was never received.
In intent to resolve the issue and in good faith, I have called several times left messages and neither I nor my husband received any call back with any answer to any of our questions or inquiries.
On Friday August the 1st 2014, I sent an Email to the contracting dept. advising them that if we had no heard from them by 5 PM of the same day regarding the contract progress they will leave us no choice but to contact all the necessary government or legal agencies to file a complaint and on August 5th someone by the name of Jeanet Martinez from the contracting dept. sent a reply indicating that my conduct was unacceptable and that therefore they had the right to deny the job offer opportunity breaching once more the contract offered in writing furthermore she also indicated they had the right not to reply to any of any additional emails we might sent or return any phone calls.
This type of business conduct and Company wrongdoing should not be tolerated and allow in our Great Nation so I am requesting a deep investigation of the Company and for you entity to take the necessary actions to avoid for the company to keep lying and stealing from Low or No income class individuals who do not speak English and are desperate to find a job to place food on their family’s table one who represents Minorities in our country. I truly believe it is not a fair practice, it is dishonest and they are taking advantage of innocent victims like my husband.
