I had a consultation with this doctor back in February for a breast augumentation. From the start his office was a little sketchy. The hallways were long and dark and all the doors were locked. No one that worked there even knew what office this was. I arrived at 10:45 and my appointment wasnt until 11. The door was locked and apparently they have no receptionist so we were left to wait out in the hallway. The doctor arrived at 11:15 and greeted us with an unfriendly hello. Inside his office was even more sketchy. It was dark, smelly, dingy and the furniture was broken. I know your probably thinking what am I still doing here? But my friends all had nice work done by him and said nothing but positive things so I decided to give him a try
Dr. Mehr immediately took me back and started with his unprofessional consultation. He told me I would need a simple augumentation and quoted me $4,600.
He told me I would need $200 deposit that day to lock in the price. Liking the price I decided to go for it. I gave him $200 and said I would be in contact with him to pick a date as I was waiting for my income tax and needed to get work situated.
I got in contact with him about 2 weeks later and said I wanted to do the surgery on March 13, 2015. He said that would be good but needed to get back with me to set up a time because he normally performs his surgerys in the office but he had to do it at another surgery center. Sounded legit.... so I waited. One week turned into 2 weeks... 2 weeks turned into 3 weeks. Fed up I finally called him back to see what was going on as my surgery date date was fast approaching.
He then hits me with some bullshit that it will be $1,000 more due to the fact that he has to go to a different surgery center to do the surgery. Are you f****** kidding me?? Was this doctor even going to call me to tell me about the change? I was very upset because I had $4,400 in cash ready to do my augmentation and time off approved at work. I told Dr. Mehr I was unable to do the surgery because I didnt have an extra $1,000 to put towards it. He informed me I would not get a refund of my $200 deposit because IM the one who cancelled. Are you shitting me? Hes the one who raised the price on me even after I paid a deposit... Isnt that the purpose of a deposit?
Then the day before the surgery this a*****e calls me at 7pm and says he wanted to confirm surgery for the 13th at 10am! Are you f**king kidding??? Who calls the night before at 7pm even after you told me Im not getting my money back!? What the f*** are the dos and donts before surgery? I told him that I cancelled and went to see a REAL DOCTOR for my augumentation because I wasnt paying $1,000 more. That slow a*****e then says, "How much did I tell you?... oh I can do it for $4,400"? This crook has trouble remembering what lies he told to who. Then I come to find out a friend of mine had the exact same surgery exactly a week before mine was to take place... Now why was I told it was going to be performed at a different location and needed $1,000 more? He tried to bamboozle me
I would avoid this piece of s**t schmuck if at all possible... Hes very unprofessional, he plays janitor, receptionist, nurse and doctor, he pulls any price out of his a*s and he doesnt know s**t about plastic surgery thats why all his certificates are for dermatology!!! He also said I didnt need a lift but come to find out I do! Please please avoid this crook. He can keep my $200 and go take some speech class or ethics training or shove it up his a** for all I care!!!!
