In December 2014 I was contacted by one "Alexander Kaufman" and offered a job shipping packages overseas. This was a scam but having never heard of such a thing, I did not realize it.
Mr.Kaufman and I quickly came to terms as to salary, job responsibilities, etc. He sent me job description and other documentation. He paid off my credit card debts amounting to about $4000 and I began to buy items and shipping them overseas according to his instructions, using my own credit cards.
I shipped 4 times and he gave me bank account numbers to pay the balances on my cards. Twice this was done. The third time the "Payments" bounced. Soon all my credit cards were frozen and now I can no longer use them until I pay the balances, which amount to about $12,000.
I told Mr. "Kaufman" what had happened and asked for the salary he had promised to pay me. Since then I have heard nothing. Now I am forced into bankruptcy, which will cost me an additional $335 and ruin my good credit. The only thing Mr. "Kaufman" told me that was true was that my credit score would go up.
This Mr. Kaufman turns out to be one Yang Y. Yoo, of Houston, TX. I will probably never see any of my money out of him but I have learned a valuable lesson. Beware of this crook!
