This company has the customer scam down. They come out, spend 20 minutes looking at your air conditioner, and then start the ripoff process. First they tell you the unit is broken, they then show you a list of services that include their outrageous prices. This list is used apparently to validate that they are not making up the outrageous costs - "look, they're right here in black and white." They then try to convince you that you have to pay these outragous prices to get the unit fixed. I could have purchased a new air conditioner for the costs they tried to get for a relatively minor repair. After all the squirming, this technician tried to get $1800 for a repair I have had done by another company for $420. I ended up paying half the amount which was still a ripoff.
I called the company to find out if they were a real business or some fly by night. The person I talked to said that indeed the price list costs were all legit. However, when I received the ridiculous bill and called back to question the charges, I was told that by the same person that the technicians had no price list and he did not know what I was talking about.
The manager I talked to had an extremely bad attitude. When I would ask a pointed question he would change the subject or just get defensive.
