I received a gift card from Akira for my birthday. It was purchased on May 29th with $50 cash. On July 8th I visited Akira for the first time. Once it came time to pay, I gave the waitress the gift card. She came back saying there wasn't any money on the card. So I talked to the manager Rocky. I told him it was purchased on May 29th around midday, and he doesn't have any records of a gift card purchased on that day. The man the card was purchased from did the transaction behind the bar. I asked the manager if they kept track of each cards PIN number, and he said they didn't. Rocky wasn't helpful at all and only blamed us for ripping him off. I have never had an experience like this. I still have the card, the card number is 88800373. The card has been in my wallet since I received it on May 30th and this is the first time taking it out.
