Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co of China are the manufacturer of the X3 / K6000 car camera (dash cam). My EU company ordered a bulk delivery from Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology of the K6000 car cameras (X3 dash cam) and wish we never did. Be duly warned.
1) 18% of the stock we received the LCD screen did not work. For us, this was a clear case of poor manufacturing standards and non-existent quality control by Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co. We asked for replacement cameras to be sent to us but they refused. Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co amazingly demanded that we return the cameras complete with all packaging and that they would repair them under warranty. Of course, they knew we would not do this as the costs involved would be high and then we would have repaired second hand cameras, not new ones as we had purchased.
Get this, Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology sent us a video of how to repair the fault ourselves, or rather how to get our customers to repair the fault themselves! Bear in mind, this is for a brand new camera which was sold to us in non-operating condition, and that buyers have legal rights of course. But, see for yourselves how deluded Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology are;

2) 8% of the stock we bought came with broken cradles; we are not talking about damaged boxes, we are talking broken cradles put into the boxes by Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co to be sold as new. Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co tried to profit from this, claiming we had broken the cradles ourselves and demanded we pay for new ones at $5 per cradle including delivery to us, so we bought replacements off eBay of all places at $2 each including shipping.
Unfortunately, because we were assured by Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology Co that each item had been quality checked twice, and because our spot checks did not pick up any defective items, we shipped all of the items to end user customers, and it ended up costing us a fortune. Customers rightfully returned their cameras for a full refund and return postage compensation, we had to send out replacement cradles to many others.
Basically, we lost a lot of money by buying X3 dash cams / K6000 car cameras from Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology. When we asked for compensation as we are legally entitled, they simply tried to sell us more with a small extra discount per camera. We will never, ever buy anything from Shenzhen Xinghean Electronic Technology ever again and advise everyone else to be very careful indeed regarding the K6000 car camera.
