If you sign up with this company as a registered agent in Montana, be aware that the serivce is poor and you will miss some of your mail. They are supposed to scan it and put it online, but about half of the mail goes missing. If you try to cancel your service upon expiration of the term, they will not let you do so by phone, fax, or e-mail. Instead they have devised a scheme where you are required to cancel via e-mail. As part of the cancellation process, they tell you that you CANNOT cancel unless you have another regisrtered agent on file at the time of cancellation.
In my own case, I had another registered agent that I had engaged prior to the expriation of my term with this business. They provide no option to explain cancellation but for a limited series of checkboxes with an explanation that they will charge you $250 and NOT cancel your account if you deviate from thier cancellation checklist, not all of which may apply to you. So basically they take the position that you cannot cancel and then charge you $250 for trying to do so. This is not in the original contract and is a blatant credit card fraud on the part of this business. I have reported them to the Montana Secretary of State and to Mastercard and Visa security.
