Scam Artist Company

We were dupped out of $299 and our bank BMO Harris let them do it. Even after we showed California's State Law 181 CA 4th 1419 stating that a company has to prove that the company has lost money before they can deem it "non-refundable." If you have lost your deposit with this company please contact The California States Attorney and you local State's Attorney.

On 6/18/2014 I contacted Brad at All Star Direct Auto Shipping to transport a car from Oklahoma to las Vegas he gave me a quote for $699 with a $299 deposit witch he revieved through my bank we agreed. On 6/20/2014 Brad contacted me that there was a truck and trailer waithing in Joplin to pick it up he also informed me that the driver would need $1000 when he dropped off the car at my house that wqould be an additional $600 from the $400 that should have been the price. That would have been a total of $1299.00 for shipping the car and that is not what we agreeded apon. He told me that is the price like it or leave it and he hung up on me. I called him back streight away and said hay what happened to the $699 price he said that is the way it goes other shipping companies are bidding it right now and that is what the driver wants good luck finding some one to do it cheeper to bad i keep the depisoit. and he hung up again. Very rude even cursed and yelled and said we were crazy to think he would ship it for so little. We we signed a contact with his company for $699 what happened to that price he just stated to bad. No refunds period. I felt I was being taken advantage of. We had a contract. Very unproffensional and not a nice person at all. Do not do business with this man or his company you will be less $300 and no transport.

These clowns, first, they can't give you a ship date for a vehicle, then they can't give you a delivery date for same, then they can't give you the price you agreed upon, then, they don't ship the car. wtf ? Just a bunch of slimy scam artists, operating under the pretense of Auto shippers. Run far and run fast, just a scam.

Never, never, never even think of using this company!!! As in all reviews here and on other sites, this is the most dishonest, unreliable, unprofessional company, employing and/or ruin by rude, ignorant, dishonest & fraudulent people. They quote you a low price, send you a contract to sign, charge a deposit on your card, then raise the price by hundreds of dollars and expect you to still use them to transport your car.

They quoted me $799 to ship a car from Georgia to Oregon, sent me a contract to sign, I signed it, they charged my card for a $299 deposit, then called to tell me that a driver would pick up my car and would have to be paid an additional $950 cash when picked up, for a total of $1249 instead of the $799 contract price.

When I called, Steve was rude, and uneducated. He kept insisting that it was not a contract I had signed, just an order form; when I read to him from the form, where it clearly stated it was a contract, he was stuttering and could not explain, so he hung up on me. When I read him the clause that said the contract could only be changed in writing, he insisted that that meant I would have to change it in writing, as I clearly read to him from the form where it said it could only be changed in writing by All-Star Direct, he again hung up on me.

Apparently he has never read the contracts he is sending out. Several times I called back and several times he hung up on me, only saying that I would not get my deposit back. Obviously he doesn't know anything about contract law either. Luckily my attorney/agent, my credit card dispute dept., the Better Business Bureau, the California Dept of Consumer Affairs, and the California Attorney General's Office do, and he will be quite busy dealing with them all. He can try hanging up on all of them over and over.
