All State Van Lines Relocation Inc.'s Reviews

This company did nothing but sweet talk me into using them for a corporate move. I scheduled a full 53 foot tractor trailer for my exclusive use. No weight limit. The move was supposed to take 3 days to pack, 5 days to transport, and 2 days to unpack. They were to disassemble my furniture upon pick up, and reassemble it upon delivery. They asked for, and received a $4700.00 deposit to hold my move. I called them 3 weeks ahead of my move to inform them when my closing dates would be. They acknowledged that, and told me they would call me within 24-48 hrs to confirm. This did not happen. I called them every other day to try to get the confirmation, and could not get a straight answer.

Six Days before my move, they called me with the wrong dates. When I corrected them, they charged me an additional $4700.

If you ever want to have an awful moving experience you should contact and book with All State Van Lines. They will be late to initially scheduled pick up by at least a day and a half. Then, they will tell you your belongings are 1,200 pounds over your estimated weight - even when you have documented proof of your possessions from a much better and more reputable moving company that in fact your items weigh 3,500 and not close to 5,000 as they claim. And that 3,584 pounds of stuff included many more heavy pieces of furniture that were not included in this move. They will then try and gauge you for an additional $700.

Then, when you request a re-weighing of the truck with and then without your items, suddenly there are no weigh stations close. Suddenly they want to make a deal. Because they were caught in a blatant lie. Because the customer is smart enough to know and keep records of prior moves. Because the customer contacted movers who have handled my items in 3 different moves and he says his truck couldn't handle a load of 5,000 pounds. Because if you try and F me and my husband over you will sorely regret your decision because I promise this status, is just the first of many online and social media outlets I will use to make other consumers aware of what a devious and dishonest and scamming company is being run. ALL STATE VAN LINES. DO NOT USE.

My 44" TV is broken along with sever other items that are either broken or cracked and scratched and chipped.

Have been dishonest about costs, bouncing us around from rep to rep not resolving our issue and now they wont give us a delivery date. My Wife and I used them to move from California to Texas. My wife spent hours on the phone getting an inventory done and was quoted an amount.

Once movers came they raised that amount by $3000. For three weeks we have been going back and forth trying to get justification of the charges we have been assigned 15 different people to talk to, none is resolving anything. Now we are trying to set up a delivery date,

initially they told us we need to give them a weeks heads up which we did, days later nothing has happened. Now they say we need to give them 2 weeks heads up, we are moving in to our place in few days.

In addition they wont tell us what dates we can firm up satting they dont know the schedule. We need for them to lower our bill but more importantly give us a delivery date.

First off be aware that this company (i found out later) is just a broker for other sub contracted movers. but All state van line are the people who this report is about.

when the movers were booked a price was quoted (by email and by mail written form as well) and all was right with the world, than 3 days before the movers were suppose to arrive they called and raised the price slightly with no "good" reason but at this point 3 days before we reluctantly went with it because of little options this far into the move.

than after the movers loaded everything they quoted an almost double price and then informed me that this was just a safe esimate and i would only pay what my actual load weighed.

after the weight was very close to the original amount and original price they informed me that there was a "SLIDING SCALE" and instead of receiving all of the overage back i would only receive half back and further informed me that it was in the original contact that i signed (at lower price)

after threatening not to pay the overage it was told to me by management that i would not receive my items from the truck untill i paid in full.

they then informed me that we could negotiate after the invoice was paid and that was 3 weeks ago with no suck negociating taking please and no credits given.

just an FYI my original moving cost were quoted at 6,500.00 and the final price muscled out of me and my wife was 11,700.00 and this was for 3/4 of an 18 foot truck loaded.

this is way beyond criminal and seems that this "sliding scale" is just a way to charge you more and only give back a small portion in refund.

I have spoken to 7 different people including 3 managers with nothing to show but high blood pressure for my efforts.

Beware of this company!
