WOW AM I STUPID !! i was lucky enough to get a great job that required i move immediatly 2100 miles away. I received several quotes from companies such as allied , mayflower etc etc. , Since i had to foot the bill i selected a company that was 35 % less than the other companies . the saleman ray assures me they were a local mover in the seattle are and been in biz for many years . For some reason i believed him without checking out this company on the internet . He ( ray ) assured me the price was binding with no chance of it going up .The day they arrived they only had " 2 " men that did not speak english !!
It took them 14 hours to load the truck and caused me to miss my flight along with my family of 5 . When they were finally done i was informed that i had more cubic ft. than the salesman informed me i had . Rather than bore you i will get to the point , when the truck arrived for delivery ( 12 day's later than promised ) the driver informed me that the price was almost double !!!! Wow , i almost had a heart attck right there . I did not even have the extra money to pay them even if i wanted to . They then told me they would take it to storage where they would hold it until i came up with the money .
After borrowing from all my relatives my furniture arrived . 70 % of my items were either smased , broken , or scrathed . Two large screen tv sets were in thousands of pieces !! What a nightmare this was . After settling in my new home i did some research on this co " ALL UNITED MOVERS & STORAGE " and could not even find them listed on the internet !! Ray , my co rep said they were in seattle . After checking their dot # i found a company in berkley mo. called " W&M GLOBAL SYSTEMS " of course there was no phone number for this company !! I hope i helped some people from getting scammed from this company
