Apperently TCF bank sent me to collections for an outstanding balance of $281.89 to alternative revrenue systems for collection. I just was infomed for their attempt to collect the debt now with legal fees supposeably of $742 today when they called my employer. Greg Hayes at extension 107 called my boss saying they were going to garnish my wages. Pretty sure thats illegal will find out tomorrow when I speak to an attorney. But thats all he said.
I got the name of the company from my boss contacted Greg Hayes at 303-953-5270 ext 107. He infomed me that an outstanding judgement had been entered against me. I asked for details he said NO. Finally after battling him he told me a default judgement was enterd against me on August 7th, 2013. Fun because I never recieved any summons in the mail and was ever personally served but a judgement was enetered against me anyways by another attorney Timothy Gibson #13242. As I spoke to Greg he was your typical collection dbag. He tried to get $300 upfront from me and I said NO. We battled a little more and he settled on $100 a month.
I was done at this point and extremely pissed off so I hung up. I immediatly called back and spoke to Greg Hayes again and asked for everything in writing, he said"no sir we dont do that!" Who the hell solicates money from you and wont put what their doing in writing I'll tell you who these f****! So after I said thats unexceptable he transfered me to his boss Jim Rippca or some d***** name along those lines. This guy takes the cake of utter scumbags that just suck at life. He immediately stated he knew who I was, like Im f****** Al Capone and commited the crime of the century and I replied I knew who he was as well. The is blasted by everyone I saw that has had to deal with this company. He said he would send me everything in writing, so we will see.
I contacted Denver County courts right after and tried to fill a motion on the basis I was never served or even made aware that the judgement took place. I was informed that I had to do that no later than 14 days after the judgement was enetered. Makes sense that I cant appeal the judgement now and either pay them $100 a month or there going to try and garnish my wages.
Moral of the story aviod these unethical and probalby illegal practices (I hope I can sue these f**** I really do). They are an extremely s***** company stay away from them
