AlwaysOnVacation Reviews

  • Dec 23, 2014

I have a vacation property listed with this company. Normally I handle all my bookings directly but I received a request for occupancy on very short notice so I set up the booking through the Always On Vacation booking system so a credit card payment could be made. I received e-mail confirmation of the payment from a staff member and my account invoice showed the payment (minus booking fee) as well. At that time I called the renters and gave them access info for my property.

A few days later an employee of Always On Vacation notified me that the credit card payments were not honored. Apparently the employee had a few converstions with one tenant and received intent to pay. I have a copy of one of these e-mails. At this time I heard about the payment problem, and the property management company notified me of problems with the tenants.

Shortly thereafter the tenant no longer responded to any contact attempts from the company, or me, and the property was abandoned. Although the tenants damaged my property, I simply hold the company accountable for receiving the payment and verifying it was received. They communicated with me via phone and e-mail several times over a period of a few days then told me I should call the police. Since that time, none of my phone calls or e-mails have been responded to.

I filed a report from the California BBB. Always On Vacation refused a response to them and has never contacted me since August 2014.

I believe Always On Vacation is legally responsibe to me for the payments promised and that they should pursue any legal action required to collect on the frauded payments.

This have shown a blatant lack of integrity and professionalism.
