I've been participating in on-line free Lotto and Publisher's Clearing House and I was warned about hearing from someone claiming I had won a sweepstakes but needed to pay a small fee to have my winnings released to me! Well it happened! Today I recieved several very official looking notifications, 1 from ,ASP, American Sweepstakes Publishers,a Michael Washington in Kansas City sending me a document release form indicating that when I paid him $12.00 I would recieve my 1,000,000.00. Jerk!! Thieves just have to ruin every good thing. I didn't fall for it but what about the poor people that do. This is mail FRAUD
I have been receiving mail for several months stating that I am the winner of over a million dollars. Every time I must send them $12.00 processing fee. Void without fee is stated. This last report says "confirmation of identity and cash/prize release authorization. I have sent money every time I receive correspondence .
They even went sending me a tracked number i had hopes on buying a home with this money my husband and are both diabled i made plans on buying this home that we couldnt afford living on disability i am a person would love to help others in need and that s what i was going to do with this money i havent heard a thing back from these people this is an terrible way doing people like this taking their money and making big promises thats wrong to do people that way we have never owned a home i had my high hopes on this i believed you and you took our money that we didnt have thats so wrong i am a trusted person i trust people why would you make promises to people and dont fall through with it i am so disapointed and hurt thats people out there like that why would you do this to a person thats disabled and depended on that money you promised it paids to have a heart not going around hurting people i made all these plans to buy a house and help others that need it what is the world comming to today please dont keep doing people like this it vey wrong and you will answer for it one day please find these people thats doing this to people and make them pay up for what they are promising people this is so hurtfull and dishonest.
Please do not send any money to American Sweepstakes Publishers or anyone who sends you mail asking for $12.00 or $9.00 or similar small fee to provide you access to sweepstakes fraudulently misrepresenting that you have already won a million dollars, because if you win a million dollars you can be sure that no-one is going to ask you for a small processing fee. These con-men and con-women did this before using similar but slightly different names and using exactly the same con game strategy of bait and switch by asking you for a small processing fee and later telling you that you did not win if you get in touch with them later asking where your million dollars is. They simply use the excuse that a careful reading of the mailing you received does not specifically promise you win a million dollars but merely promises they shall process your submission for a million dollar sweepstakes which no-one to our knowledge has ever learned if a genuine million dollar sweepstakes existed or if these conmen ever submitted your name for such a questionable sweepstakes. I am a paralegal and shall be glad to volunteer my time to contacting victims of this co-game to form a class of plaintiffs for any Lawyer who wishes to file suit against these people and I shall assist anyone investigating the actual identities of the scum behind this scheme to defraud many many many people including the elderly. I just received the most Official looking & reading document in the mail claiming that this is an "official" statement dispatched to me from ASP, that they have identified over $1,000,000.00, in cash and prizes and that I have been confirmed, but I must sign for it, and send in $12.00 within 7 days. But I mean to tell you! This thing looks soooooo official, like they put a great deal if thought into the wording, and presentation, very sophisticated, I was wanting to beleive it, it got the heart a pumping again lol!
