Anovia Payments Reviews

I signed up for Anovia Payments as a result of a friend that was selling ACN phone services for credit card processing for my business customers. The sales pitch was that it was a less expensive solution than Pay Pal.

I signed up for the service, but only aggreed to do so on a trail basis with no ealry termination fee.

I was told it was very easy to setup and I'd be on my way in no time.

I tried 7 times to setup the service and could not get it activated, as a result I terminated the service.

Anovia than went and charged my bank account $94.95 for and I quote "because of the numerous times we reached out to you the fees will not be refunded and the early termination fee will be applied."

I replied with the following

"I think you better review the contract that I signed where the early termination fee was removed from the contract. I also think you better give me my refund for the monthly fee that I was charged for a service that I attempted on numerous occasions to activate with zero success. You can also tell your management that if this is not done, I will file in small claims court to get my money back and I will file with the Better Business Bureau and I will file a complaint on Ripoff Report Dot Com."

Anovia's response:

"The ETF was waived and will not be charged, as for the other fees they will not be refunded because of the numerous attempts we made to complete the set up process."

My response:

"Numerous attempts Anovia made to complete the process? Picking up a phone and leaving me a message on my voice mail is not a billable action. You never had a single billable minute with me because at no time was I on the phone with a rep attempting to set this up. I think you need to look up what the US Laws say on billable time, something I am very familiar. You have no damages to claim for the $94.95 that I was charged and I promise you that the court system will award me a judgement against you for the $94.95, a process I am more than happy to proceed with."

I called Jay, thier Account Manager, and he told me "managament said I can't talk to you" and he hung up on me.

I recently filed in Small Claimes Court to get my money back and wrote this report.

Anovia Payments scammed me. They were unable to setup the service and than charged me for a service I never used and for the fact that they left me three voice message. This company is a total ripoff! Avoid!!!
