I have purchased over 8 iphones in the past 3 yrs and foun the last group of phones that were purchased in 2012-2013 had bad batteries in them. When you go back to Tmobile after 14 days they say to use warranty. Warranty has a $150 deductible and you just bite the bullet and settle to buy an extender to give another 2-3 hours on your battery life.

We have 24 Iphones within my comapny and I tell all the employees to keep the brightness level to 1/4 level so that we can have more battery life. Why is it that my son who has a Samsung Galaxy dont have this issue????

So a class action lawsuit was filed and a a website was created to off set the lawsuit. So originally when the lawsuit was making media attention they were replacing batteries left and right. Now that time has passed, they have stopped honoring the bettery exchange program. Ive had 4 different phones that have the same issue and bought during the same time with the same issues. The Tmobile dealer said that all his clients were having them replaced without issue, that was back in August last year and today --apple has this on the website:

The serial number you entered is not eligible under this program because either:

- It's not one of the serial numbers in the affected range

- Our records show that your battery has already been replaced. If you paid for a battery replacement service,

I am a poor person on a limited income, social security and a modest pension. I wanted quality but could not afford to buy new so I settled for pre-owned Apple products (2). An iPhone and a MacBook-Air lap top. Oh, did I error in that decision. There is support for them at Apple but you cannot reach Apple to get that support unless you want to pay throught the nose! Facts: I could not connect with Apple to change my email address and when I tried to contact Apple to change my email address and password of course I hit a stone wall! I finally got a support techician who took over control of my lap top and my iPhone and after a time informed me that they were both loaded with extraneous data from the previous owners and that is why I could not connect with Apple support! They wanted $600.00 US dollars to wipe both products! That cost went way over my head and there is no way I can ever afford that! So my message to anyone reading this, think twice before you purchase any Apple product that was pre-owned!

Bought an iphone 6 that shipped defective and received on September 19th. By the end of September, noticed the battery life was horrible. Called the Apple Customer 'Care' line and got a huge runaround. I was told everything from we can do an immediate return but we'll have to place a $650 hold on your credit card, you can go to a store or you can go without a phone for 3-5 BUSINESS days while we 'fix' the phone. Fix?!!! Its a brand NEW phone. Brand NEW technology. It was just released on the day I got it!

October 6, spent 6 hours on the phone with Apple and went through same chuck and jive BS on the phone. All the options -- which don't work because

A) I am not placing a hold on a credit card for that amount for a phone that SHIPPED defective.

B) I live four (4) hours ROUNDTRIP from the nearest Apple store -- and that does not include 2 hours at their genius bar and the gas to get there and back plus the TOLLS to get there.

C) Go without a phone for 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS?

Now please bear in mind, I own an iMac, MacBook Pro, ipad, four iphones, 3 ipods - one the big one, two nanos, an Airport Express (2 of those) and an Airport Extreme -- plus iBook and a G4. All of which were registered with Apple Care throughout the years I have been buying from this company. Yet, they would rather lose this customer rather than fix this problem in an expedient manner without a lot of unnecessary travel and expense on my part.

October 30 - spend another 2 hours on the phone to set up the third option; where upon the Manager kept asking me - "Do you want me to set up this 'repair?' Yes, you read that right - repair. Not a new phone to replace it. They are going to try to whip a dead horse and resurrect this phone from the dead. Mind you, as I am talking to them, I had the phone die, charged p and then during the last 10 minutes of the call the phone battery went from 100% to 88% - yes, in TEN MINUTES.

Apple died with Steve Jobs. Don't bother buying them. You would be no better off trying to navigate the straits with any other cellphone manufacturer. Apple USED to have superior customer service - one of the main reasons I have been more than willing to pay their exorbinate prices for their products - which is well above all the other companies offering phones, mp3 players and computers. But now, there's no reason to continue paying the big prices because big customer service is GONE.

RIP Apple. I guess now we're in for the 'death rattle' of a once exceptional company.

Side note: I have been complaining as well about their inability to reject calls on their OS7 and OS8 - while you send the call to voicemail, the calling waiting (annoying) beep continues until it goes through it's process as if you never pushed the reject option. Sloppy. If Steve Jobs had been alive when those two OS updates had occurred, the OS would never have rolled out with that 'glitch' they never fix. Once again. Apple is NOT worth the escalated price anymore.

Hello want to get the word out that updates with apple cost. I did one and started to have problems with icloud. I contacted apple for customer support. They said it was going to cost 320 or more to fix. I have had the account shut down. The person on the phone also screwed up my computer by changing icon sizes and putting my computer in safe mode. They even hung up on me. My update makes my 5c go slower and uses up the battery more. Apple is ruthless and money hungry. They have no regards for customer satisfaction. I have only had this phone since February of this year and all the want is more money. They wont be happy till i upgrade to the i6. Im going to samsung or microsoft.

After receiving the single unit Mac app license through email. I tried to redeem it.

Following the Apple Inc. license agreement, pdf file I had printed out hard copy. Also opening an Apple ID account as instructed.

Unfortunately it proved to be impossible to REDEEM the OS X Lion app to install.

So On October 16, 2014 I called their customer service tech 800-692-7753 for App Support.

I spoke to a tech person who advise me to go on a Share your screen.

Another big mistake. I downloaded the Share your screen software Installed it and stated following his instructions.

This was to creepy for me. Felt like your being staked or giving the spyware OK. For goodness sakes I just wanted to upgrade my OS X from Snow leopard to Lion.

I told the tech person to just forget it and that I would buy the

software on a jump drive or DVD. I requested a refund of my 19.99.

He said he checked with his supervisor came back to say a refund COULD NOT be issued.

I told him there is a link on the Apple.com to request refunds

and since I had not got to use the app at all.

He said there was nothing he could do.

Question why should any customer have to jump through HOOPS to received something already PAID for? Mind you I have been a Apple customer for nineteen years and have never brought an app of any kind and probably never will again. So I filed a complaint with the Apple.com customer service, bbb.org and Rip-off report.

Dear Rip of Report

I have just emailed Apple and your customer service towards people that are disabled is to be desired for. I brought the phone because i heard they were good for people with autism and autistic traits and people with my disability.

Unfortunatly the charging cables keep breaking and no one made me aware that the apple charging cables were under warrenty. You're answer to it was for me to go out and buy a new one and if it breaks send that one back in to us! I mean seriously Apple! - I've just informed you i'm disabled and i'm on ESA and these things can get expensive after breaking them to the point where i've had to buy non apple charging cables to keep me going or use my mums ipad one. See this is where most companies would throw in a good will gesture for messing up but of course not apple! never apple!

You kept telling me to go into an apple store but i hate to break it to you not everyone is near an apple store! and not every one can willingly travel to one as my disability wont let me travel alone!

Secondly i tell you that im having trouble with battery my friend whose on andriod his phone lasted him all weekend and mine died straight away, and your saying my phone has passed but why is it draning the battery if it's passed and now it feels ls like your insulting me because your giving me simple basic steps i've already done which some of them i don't see relavent to the battery usage!.

Okay, is the brightness turned to a real high setting there?

If you can, the lower the brightness is the longer the battery will last. -- dearest apple if i have the brightnesss turned down low how am i meant to see the screen tell me that one im dyslexic and have trouble reading!.

next step; Is wifi turned on on your device? Using wifi when you can will help save battery life so your device is not using and searching for cellular data.

next step ;Okay, the next one is a big one. Tap Settings> Notification Center. Adjust and turn off any apps that you don’t need to notify you.

next step; Now tap Settings> Mail, contacts, and calendars> Fetch New data. Make sure this is set on a suitable interval. For example, mine is set on one hour.

next step ; Next, tap Settings> General> Auto-lock. Make sure auto-lock is enabled and it’s set at a suitable interval. For example, mine is set at 1 minute.

next step; Okay. The next one is one of the biggest battery suckers. Tap Settings> General> Background App Refresh. Make sure this is turned off. This will only not let your apps refresh in the background when you aren’t using them.

Final step Tap Settings> Privacy> Location Services. Just like the notification certain, turn off every app you don’t need to use your location services.

This phone was meant to be easy and cheaper for me to use when i had an android the charging cables never broke. And i never had problems with the battery i was going to go and swap out for the iphone 5s BUT one apple makes them friendly for disabled people but doesn't make the price friendly what about those who are un employable????

secondly why should i after having this experince with apple, tell me why i shouldn't switch out from apple to andriod.

Seriously apple you have a lot of things to do too redeem yourself and your customer serivce.
