Shareholder risk

to Steven Valtas who wrote on August 10, 2014

Dear Steven,

You wrote;

"Commentary by shareholders who were seeking a fast and large return often amuses me in the sense that any such possibility is always full of significant risk. No one has lost any money yet."

Glad it amuses you, i do not think that people who invested in say 2011 are asking too much to sell something, anything in 2014, even one share. Plus i am glad that you know the circumstances of every shareholder to say no one has lost any money, maybe the fact that you can not sell means you can not realise a loss even if you could sell.

Not a very good introduction to your Russian scientists if you say that the company will either operate successfully or fail miserably. Any good introducer would not introduce people on the basis that it will either operate successfully or fail miserably.

Astra Resources and some recent facts

Peter J. Turnbull was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at the end of May 2014 resigned in July 2014.

He wrote this on 24th May 2014 (this comes from Astra directly)

Adelaide, Australia -24th May 2014:

I am delighted to accept the position of interim CEO. I am well aware of the challenges that Astra face, but also believe I can offer substantial assistance in meeting those challenges and moving forward with confidence, determination and vigour.

My first task shall be to fully acquaint myself with the projects at hand within Astra, and the plans to bring these projects to their full potential. I have already commenced discussions with other parties who may be able to bring added expertise and investment to bring some of these projects on line in a quicker timeframe.

Similarly, I have also been approached by Group’s who believe they can further augment the Group’s current investments by introducing Projects and businesses that are already cash generating. If this can be achieved, we will be better placed to be able to balance the huge potential of our current holdings, with cash generation assets.

As far as the ASIC matter is concerned, the Group will of course co-operate in every way with ASIC in their enquiries, whilst the company and its Directors in question will outline and defend their position as they are entitled to do.

In closing, I look forward to my time with Astra and I can assure you that I will be using all of my experience and contacts, to make this Group as strong, as versatile and as resilient as possible.

Peter Turnbull

In relation to the post of August 10th with the comment.

"For example neither of the 2 people being prosecuted by ASIC, are now board members of Astra."

Just contact the office (www.astraresources.co.uk ), they still run the place. From what i hear nothing happens without their consent, so yes they are no longer directors.

I invested in Astra Resources around 3 years ago with the promise of being able to sell my shares within 60 days. There are many investors with much more knowledge about this company than me so I hope they see this post and decide to add more information.

It appears that Astra Resources can no longer get any money from Australians, Germans or Asians, so they are now targeting North Americans with a listing in Canada.

Here are some reasons why you should stay away.

The company is ran by two individuals Jaydeep Biswas and Silvana De Cianni. They have conned so many people out of their life savings, they invest into technologies and companies that are fraudulent and most of the time money filters back to them privately. They continue to try to raise money and use that money to pay off early investors who threaten them or are in anyway related.I came across a forum a few weeks ago set up by investors who wanted a voice, there were some great comments on there, then Astra Resources somehow got it shut down. Topstocks.com.au used to allow comments, they have deleted most.

I am sick of hearing the stories of how people are promised big returns in a small amount of time and here how people are losing their houses over Astra Resources, marriages are breaking up and even worse there has been a suicide from an investor that saw no way out.

I wish I had voiced my concerns earlier, what really ticked me off was a recent phone call from the Astra Resources office telling me how they would like me to vote at the upcoming AGM. Yes, telling me what to mark down on my voting form.

Here are some news reports about the company, Jaydeep Biswas and Silvana De Cianni

archive.today/zNUB3 This is the old Wikifraud page that they had taken down via court action.

Enough is enough people, please any investors who have been burnt by Astra Resources, Jaydeep Biswas, Silvana De Cianni and anyone related parties, please come forward and tell your story before others lose all their money.

Money is too hard to come by these days, don't throw it away to these people.

Who are the Directors

It appears the Directorial Merry go round is still spinning at this rate they will break the record books for highest director turnover, i see that Ms De Cianni is back as MD, reminds me of the famous "Who's on first" sketch

Astra Resources and negative comments

I have been reviewing the previous post and have to say that a lot of the mud being thrown at Astra is in fact clearly incorrect.

For example neither of the 2 people being prosecuted by ASIC, are now board members of Astra.

Astra has in fact legally acquired several very real technologies that require final commercialisation.

My name is Steven Valtas. I introduced a group of scientists who are employed at the Russian Academy of Science. They transferred the coal gasification technology on the basis that Astra would commercialise it.

Commentary by shareholders who were seeking a fast and large return often amuses me in the sense that any such possibility is always full of significant risk. No one has lost any money yet.

In fact if the promised funding for equity proposed by China Rail eventuates, their purchase of shares will underpin the share price and allow the company to list on a major board.

May I suggest we all wait for the possible funding of Astra by the majors who have signed agreements with Astra to either be completed or fail, before asserting whether this company will operate successfully or fail miserably.

What are the facts ?

I am not a great fan of Astra, but I would question your comment.

"I am sick of hearing the stories of how people are promised big returns in a small amount of time and here how people are losing their houses over Astra Resources, marriages are breaking up and even worse there has been a suicide from an investor that saw no way out."

It reminds of the George Negus interview with Margaret Thatcher, where George said "people on the street say..." and Ms Thatcher immediately said who, tell me their names, she shot him down in flames as he could not name anyone.

My point being, who has has lost a house, who has had their marriage broken up who has taken their own life over the Astra debacle. I am not arguing the other points, i have written my investment off a long time ago.

If you wish to make a credible argument, just stick to real facts. That way the Astra supporters do not have anything to argue against.

Astra 's Assets - Zero.

They have no assets, no money left, and they are going to issue 10 Billion more shares based on nothing at all. They can't get onto the Canadian Securities Exchange. They have to issue all the shareholders with their original certificates first and they refuse to do that. That's why they were delisted from GXG markets and because they lied to GXG about it. They value T-Steel at 2.1 Billion Euros. It isn't anywhere to be found. Even the CSIRO doesn't know anything about it. They have 300,000 Euros left from the 1.1 Billion shares that they've already issued and their income last year was zero. ASIC has taken them to court and they were chucked off the last stockmarket they were on. They're registered in England at a drop mailbox that's used by 3500 other companies including Sovereign Green Global who have no assets either, as far as I can find, and are somehow buying 25% of Astra. How they can get away with issuing 10 Billion more share based on nothing beats me. No-one wants to put their names in print because they know they've been conned and it's a horrible feeling and admitting it is very hard to do. I feel for you all.
