In January 2015, I paid $640 to the Atlantic School to enroll an employee in a pre-licensing course. The employee showed up on time at the designated hotel meeting room on the scheduled start date, but nobody from the Atlantic School was there. The hotel management team advised my employee that it's not unusual for the Atlantic School to cancel last minute and not let anyone know.
I called and emailed Stephanie DeSantis at the Atlantic School who advised me that she was out of the office but would process the $640 refund within a week of returning.
More than a month went by, and nothing had been done. After many unanswered phone calls, I was finally able to get a response by email from Rod Jara, the VP/GM of the Atlantic School. He apologized and promised that he would personally handle the refund within a week. Again, more than a month has passed and no refund has been issued.
I am still actively struggling to get the $640 back at the time of writing this review. To all those considering pre-licensing courses in New Jersey, I strongly suggest you consider another company other than the Atlantic School, based largely on the mishandling of tuition funds, the complete absence of consistent communication, and the lack of responsibility in the face of a handling a problem.
