Attorney At Law Magazine Reviews

  • Jul 26, 2014

Previous VP of Sales for Broker Agent Magazine, Ken Minniti, appears to have burnt enough bridges at Broker Agent Magazine (BAM) that he is now in the Law publishing business with Attorney at Law Magazine.

As a previous publisher, I agreed to open a new market for Broker Agent Magazine. My adventure started with going to Phoenix for training on my own dime, moving and spending 3 months funding the development and marketing of the new market for the publication, joining organizations and selling enough ad space to get published within two months. Then, after a minor disagreement with a project manager at BAS, the magazine and the revenue stream I had secured were taken away from me via a FedEx letter. The only other communication was a voice mail I recieved from Ken Minniti that was an inaudible screaming rampage where he must have been driving as I could only hear every few words.

After reading the contract I had signed with BAS, it became clear that I had really no rights as long as, at any time, BAS management, ie: Ken Minniti, decided to take it away. I had banked, extremely niavely, on a trust that if I did what I was supposed to do, I'd be treated fairly and allowed to appreciate the fruits of my work, investment of money and time. I learned a very hard lesson and spent five months of my life and $1,000s of dollars just to have BAS hand my efforts to another publisher.

This lacks consideration, integrity, and scruples. Ken Minniti is a small man capable of heartless and unscrupulous behavior to feed his huge ego and greed. The very least I deserved was the chance to have a conversation to discuss matters before having all my efforts and money go down the drain. Have an attorney review your contract and think twice before doing business with Mr Minniti and his latest business, Attorney at Law Magazine. I wish someone would have warned me.
