I won a bid a bid for pallet rack decking where in their description they stated that there was "approximately 56 decks". After getting the product back and removing them from the pallet I counted 36 decks, a difference of over 35%. I could see a plus or minus 10% but 35%.
For a total of $100 more I could have purchased brand new decking and had it delivered to my facility.
I sent an email to Jason at Auction Masters telling him about my experience and expressing my disappointment, guess what? No response!
I had no issue with the people, or product but I did find out that they can and obviously do not care about exaggerating what you may receive. And if you tell them about a bad experience do not expect to hear back from them.
Be aware if they are ever telling you that there is an approximate number as this number can and has been inflated to get their pricing higher on their end. If you go and see the product make sure that you count or measure it out. Bidder Beware!
