Auravie Skin Care- They are scam artists. A free trial, just pay for shipping and handling but after ten days they charge $97.88 for the free trial box even if it is disputed and cancelled you are still charged Internet van nuys California

They argued over the phone for over hour about diffrent options in return.

Do not order any product from this company. You will lose your money in a blink of an eye.

August 5, 2014 received an email for a free trial of AuraVie product. So, I paid for the shipping of the product and had 10 days to review it and keep it or cancel the product. I recieved the product on August 8 product shipped and received the product on August 11, 2014. Opened it and began using it. On August 19, I noticed that my CC was charged 97.88. I callded the company to cancel the product. Again, 10 day trial. I called to cancel but was told tht because it was already opened I had to pay for it. So I asked her how long was the trial period before I could cancel the product. 10 days. Okay, so we are 8 days in, why are you charging my credit card when I had 10 days to cancel. I cannot trial a product that I do not have.

I asked her when her records say that I received the product and she said on the 11th, which is correct and on the 19th you are charging my credit card? So 11+10=21.. I asked to speak to a Manager and got put on hold and was told that they will drop the price to 88.00. No, don't charge my card because you are wrong. I could not get a manager to talk to and the person I was speaking to was certainly foreign, so probably no manager. I was put on hold again and because I was really becoming irritated she dropped the price to 65.00. At that point, I was like I will send the product back, but I could not because it was already open, they would not take the product back. I agreed to the 65.00 charge and told them I want my name off the list. Called my CC company and let them know. If they charge me again it will be fraud.

Low and behold, like clock work on Sept 19, charge for 97.88 again on my card. Tried to call the company and no answer at any of the three numbers I have. Called my CC company and let them know. They saw the open file I have and said that once the charge clears they weill take it off.

I an not sure how they are getting away with this but they need to be shut down for good.

I recently was made an offer online to get a free sample of AuraVie skin care products for the cost of shipping & handling (about $5). So I entered my debit card online & was happily surprised to get the products in the mail that looked like full-sized bottles, this should have tipped me off right there.

A few weeks later, right before pay day, I am on my way to the grocery store when I check my bank balance to find that $97.88 has been taken out of my account for SKIN in Van Nuys, CA. Confused about this debit and now broke, I tried to call the company only to find that it is closed & to call back during reg. hours. So I called my bank to tell them about the fraudulent charges & to cancel my bank card, once the bank informs me that the purchase was made with my bank checking/debit card.

The next day I call SKIN, wait 15 minutes for a customer service rep., & listen to them answering my phone call with this huge speech basically telling me that if I am calling concerning the TRIAL SAMPLE of skin care & the $97.88 account charge that this billing was in the fine print on the website where I purchased it. This long speech that the customer service rep gives me is done even BEFORE I tell her what my problem is!!! My brain is screaming at me that I just got scammed.

So I tried to tell her what I was calling about but there was a lot of background noise on her end of the line. I also had a hard time hearing her because it sounded muffled or it was possibly her accent that was very hard to understand. I was trying to tell her that I couldn't understand her because of this issues when she HUNG UP ON ME! SERIOUSLY?!?! What kind of customer service is that?!?! This company obviously cares nothing for its customers & doesn't want my business with its shoddy tactics & crappy service! I will be getting my money back.

Today I phoned my bank and was told that I was SOL because I used a debit card. And got fussed at like a child for doing so. I re-dialed the company using the 1-866-216-9336 number. Yesterday I had used the 1-888-609-8847 number. I let the man (he sounded like the same guy as yesterday) look me up in the system and today he found me. he did agree to cancel the order for this month.

No, I told him. I want a refund from 8/25/14 but he said it was too late. Checked the shipping number (that he didn't give to me) and said it had been delivered. It was NEVER received. I doubt it was delivered.

so I guess I am out $97.88 for the last 2 or 3 months.

Thank you to whomever posted the two ph numbers here at ripoff report.

If I try again tomorrow I'll re post.

AuraVie is not a teleamarketer, but it is the same thing on the internet. The biggest difference is that with the telemarketers the fact that the sample or trial period will automatically be billed to you if you don't cancel in a given period is upfront and you do get a sample. AuraVie says for a small price they are sending a sample, but in truth they are sending what they call a 30 day supply. Unless you very carefully read all the fine print, you are charged for that three tiny bottle another 90 some dollars. When contacted the company fails to state that the sample and 30 days supply are the same thing. I went through 5 weeks of calls and attemps to locate the 30 day supply before I was informed it was one and the same. Which of course made it too late to return for a refund. WARNING!!! DOn't do any business with this company.!

Do not make the mistake of paying "only shipping and handling" for this product! They will send you monthly shipments and bill for 97.88, not only the expense but it is a crappy feeling product on your skin. I have been fighting with AuraVie for a month to get my refund.

I spoke the their customer service dept , Matt and was told he would credit my account for 40.00 for June even though I didn't use any/open box then he said to return the July shipment and then he recited what I was to send them via e-mail saying I would not dispute the charges and they would refund the full amount for July.

i returned the product unopened at my expense of 8.00 AND sent the recited e-mail then I got an e-mail saying I need to call and speak to a supervisor. I spoke to another man today and low and behold he said they had t received my return. I gave him the tracking number and magicaly their mail dept. located my package in just a minute or two.

They now say give them 5 business days.....if no credit in 5 days I told him I WILL Dispute the charges and I am positive my credit card company will get my money back!

PLEASE DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS SCAM of a business! They do sell other products too so be sure to research!

Sthey send you an offer for a free trial of some facial products.. Saying all you need is to pay a one time shipping and handling charge. Then the following month you get a 100$ charde.

When you call to see what is going on they tell you that you sined up for there monthley product line. When you desput this they refur you to a contract page on the internet that was never listed in the original offer email. When tou tell them that they say that they are going to help you and refund you 30$ even tho they are not allowed to do so. Upon further disapproval and more threats to report and get lawyers involved.

They will put you on hold to go talk to there superviser.when they come back they now have approval from there supervisors to refund you 45$. The whole thing is scripted and the customer service rep is some indian person working at a call center over sea because no american would do that job knowing that the whole thing is a scam and that they are ripping everone off.

I was surprised to come here and see how maney cases of this has happend and that no one aka lawyer has sued them over this yet. If anyone has any idea how to get my money back i would love to know i hung up on the ahboo customer service rep so i dont even think i will get the 45$ back.

Im goning to contact my bank and report it as an un authorized charge and hope that that works.

I signed on for the $2.95 sample. About 3 weeks later they sent another package and billed my card $99.88. I called to cancel and snet the package back to them. The rep kept me on the phone for about 40 minutes lowering the price to $59, I refused. Then to $39.99, I refused. She wanted me to speak to a supervisor. I told her that i been on the phone to long to speak to anyone else. She then said that I would be charged a $15.00 restocking fee, which I am still fighting. The company is a total fraud.

I ordered a 30 day risk free trial pkg of skin care product on 07-30-2014, received pkg (full size product) 8-4-2014. I used product for 1 week started having bad skin reaction (break outs/itching).

I had surgery (seperate issue) 8-12-2014 and again 8-19-2014. According to company I only had 11 days to try product and return it, not 30 days risk free. Due to surgeries I was not able to return product nor was I aware of 11 days because I signed up for *30 days RISK FREE TRIAL*

I spoke to Matt first from customer care who would not let me speak to a manager they gave me a $40 credit $10.00 of which he stated came from his pocket because his manager only granted $30.00.

I then looked them up on BBB which states Revoked and rated F.

So I called customer care again spoke to Monica and again asked for full refund, she said she could not because pkg was opened. Pkg would be opened if returned in 11 days (per their small print) according to her and would be acceptable, but after 11 days they cannot accept open pkg.

I asked what was their definition of *30 Day Risk Free trial* no answer just referenced small print 11 days! I asked where she was located there was a long pause and I hear her typing she then said oh I am in Van Nuys Ca. I laughed and said you dont even know where you are, is it because you are really in India, she denied hesitantly.

I asked for full refund and that they honor *30 Day Risk Free TRIAL* again she refused. Now my account is over drawn and I have to take additional time and steps to prevent the scammers from further damage while I am in recovery after 2 surgeries!

May Gods revenge be merciful!!

I wish there was a way to shut this company down. I also went under the freebies web site to try and save money. I decided to order this skin care product for $4.95. They also took the hundred dollars out of my account (which I did not have and caused me to have several bills bounce). When I contacted the company they said (in what seemed like a rehearsed speech) that it does say somewhere on the page that this was a ten day trial period. I can not even find the site again to see if it does say that. I told this thing on the phone that I did not want the product and they could have it back just refund my money and he said that they could not refund my money unless the product was not opened. Of course they wait until they know you opened the product to make this statement. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM and if there are any lawyers out there please look into this because this scumbag company is taking full advantage of people who obviously don't have the money to pay top dollar for skin care products which is evident by the fact that they are looking under the freebie site. I am willing to participate and aid anyone who can take these company down.

Received e-mail to try AuraView skincare kit for $2.95, shipping only. Received with a packing list showing the

$2.95 paid with description of product as: Auraview Renew, Revive, Replenish Risk Free Trial w/EBooks. Nothing on packing list regarding return policy. Packing list dated 7/19/14. Charged my bank account 8/4 for $97.88.

I called the number on my bank acct. charge and she told me the return policy was included in the shipment. It was not. She offered to credit me $40.00 toward the product. But since that charge is in processing, I have to wait until it has gone though to file a complaint with my bank. Was a credit card purchase. Even if I got back $40.00, the samples are so small they would not be worth $52.95. Return policy was 14 days she said.

Wasn't there when I ordered.

I wanted to et reimbured for the full $97.88 so I contacted customer service. I was told I ould be given a courtesy refund

of $35.00 only if I sent them an email stating that I have not and will not contac my credit card company to file a dispute.

There was an add for free merchandise for women on Facebook. This one was for free facial products with only required to pay the shipping. I received the merchandise today and it appeared to be full size products not samples. I called before using them and was told that after 10 days they would charge my card $97.00. I told them that it was a rip off as It was Never noting in the site that there would be a charge.

They are rip offs and ALL of the consumer protection agencies should investigate and/or pass laws disallowing this type of selling platform.

Received offer for free trial of products. Thought I was going to get samples. Paid shipping $2.95. Received a kit with full size products. Never a mention of a charge to my credit card acct. of $97.88. Never saw anything in the packing slip or anywhere else that this is what was going to happen. The charge was posted as (SKINCRE 866-633-2105) called the number to see who they were to verify the charge. The lady said they were a conference call company and had nothing to do with skincare. Then I found the packing slip which had the 2 charges for shipping and handling and nothing about future charges. Packing slip says Risk Free Trial w/Ebooks. That's a joke.

You do your questioner for them. Then it tells you you can start a 30 day trial. You are billed in 10 days. They say it was in the agreement.I read no such thing. As I called up their off shore call line. They keep bringing up the agreement.30 days are 30 days not 10 days. The product it self tells you it takes at least this time to see results.I canceled the order but I still was charged for the trial offer. Nmy account is almost empty. For the price is over $97.00 after already paying the agreed amount of the trial of over $3.00.They continued trying to sale me the product for far less when I called to cancel.I just hope it really has cancelled my card. This is a scam and now I feel like an idiot.

  • Jul 14, 2014

Paid $2.95 for shipping and handling for a free trial. Tried after 6 days to cancel but thier number hangs up on you constantly so I was charged $97.88 for a free trial!

  • Jul 14, 2014

I fell for the AuraVie Sample scam where it stated I could get a sample of their product for $2.95 and was charged $97.88 for three small bottles of product. I called the overseas line three times to get through and was told that I could cancel my subscription. I was unaware that I had signed up for anything and would never have ordered their product to be sent to me on a monthly basis for the amount charged. Take my advice, do not ever order from this company--it is a rip-off.

I wanted to try to "free" trial offer for Auverie (not free)! So i paid $2.95 in shipping and I read carefully about everything on their page before I gave my CC information. I received my products relativly quick and I've used the product since then and I've not noticed any changes to my skin but my bank account is a different story. theses ASSHOLES took $98.77 out ofy account without any notification. If they were a real company with any respect they would have sent an email to everyone saying that our cards will be charged after day 10 if u don't call Or email to cancel the order! BIG TIME SCAM!!! NOT A FREE TRIAL. !!! They will charge your card without your premission for 100$.
