After 5 weeks of my 2013 Cadillac ATS being brought to AUTO LAB COLLISION,and ALC accepting the 10 day repair schedule and the $9.000 repair cost given by Allstate, on the fouth week I call to see if the car was ready. The owner Mr. Prieto, kept postponing the date in which the car was to be ready. Today, 2/13/2015 I went to the shop, and I realized nothing had been done on the car. I call later to tell them to not do any work on the car and that on 2/16/2015 I was to retrieve the car from the shop. The secretary told me she was going to inform Mr. Prieto but that a storage fee would have to be paid to retrieve the car. My Lawyer informed me that if I was unable to retreive the car,without paying $ 95/ day fee,that I was supposed to put him on the phone so that he could explain the Florida Law dealing with these type of issues to Mr. Prieto. I don't recommend to ever go to this body shop.If the controversy ends in a court of law is uncertain at this moment, but the racket seems to be to get as many car into the shop by crane truck drivers, and if the wait is too long, they threaten you with charging a storage fee if you want to extract the car from the shop.
This place is the worst repair facility that you can hire to repair your vehicle. I had an accident four month ago, three days after I drop off my vehicle at the shop, I went to get my personal belongings and this people damage more my vehicle to collect more money from the insurance company, they claim that my vehicle was like that and I know its not thru, my insurance company wrote a $ 8,000.00 estimate and what they did in my car was a disaster, they never replace the parts even do the insurance company paid for new parts, they put bondo (body filler) all over my car, the paint job is a disaster, runs all over my car, overspray, ect... My attorney is working in a law suit against this company now. Do not take your vehicle there, and if you dont trust me I guarantee you is going to be the worst nigth mare.
