Avior and Valour is a rip off skin company. They say that you can try their skin care for 14 days for as little as $3.95 for Skin Cream and $4.95 for Eye Cream. I placed my order on November 5th and they charged my card today the 17th for $98.73. When I called them they said I coud not get a refund because it was past the 14 days. I didn't even receive the one product will the 11th. Than I found this on their website under Terms and Conditons. "We allow up to 4 days for you to receive your product in the mail." Even if they allowed the 4 days for me to receive my product they are taking my money out before I could cancel. They small amount they sent would only last 14 days. They than try to continue to sell you the product you already have, that' a sample. It's a RIPOFF!
This product has given me a rash on my face and eczema around my eyes. I am unable to speak to anyone when i call. I am transfered to a voicemail and no one has returned my calls and the e-mail address is not correct.
I have had to cancel my credit card account so they can't continue to bill me for a product i can't use!

Cannot even get through to anyone regarding the Velour product. What a hassle and expense. Needless to say, I am discouraged by this also. So I immediately called to complain and was told the same rig-a-ma-role about not notifying them in 14 days so they couldn't refund my money. I complained that the Velour product had burned my eyes and I wanted my money back if they were going to force me to pay. No they couldn't accept any opened products for refunds. Since when does a company not have a satisfaction guaranteed policy! I told them that their advertising was deceptive and I never would have ordered their products if the costs had been clearly identified. Another package of Velour came today as well. I will send it back but have to pay for my own shipping. I have gone to the credit card company and filed a claim with their fraud department. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this company, their scam marketing, and their allergy producing products. Dr. Oz needs to know about this, too.

I called 818.303.9260 to cancel on different days & times and was put on hold by an automated system then it disconnected I called right back same thing, then it left me on hold for 20 minutes & had to hang up because my break was over. I e-mailed & told them what happened & I didn't want the produst & wanted to return. No response. I thought evreything was ok. Then I recieved another jar of Revitol Anit Aging Moisturiser, $75 + S&H! I called again & same disconnect after an automated message, after 3 or 4 times I was connected & recieved zip in the way of help. I was told I could return if unopened & seal in tact, the seal fell out of the package when I opened it another didn't have one! He told me I couldn't return it, for any with seal I pay shipping & $10 per bottle restocking fee. I told him this was a ripoff & asked for his supervisor. I was "transferred" to disconnect. I called back went thru the same mess & was told the supervisor would return my call. Never happened.

There was NO notification that they had enrolled us in a program where they intended to begin making monthly charges to my credit card in the amounts of $94.63 and $98.73 respectively!!!!! I called them today and was told that they had already processed those charges to my credit card just 2 weeks after we placed the order for the "FREE PRODUCT-just pay shipping".
After arguing with them for a while, being placed on hold several times, etc. I finally said I will ship this stuff back to you immediately just as you shipped it to me! Mind you, we never got their actual product (although they had already begun charging me for it) and that one of the two trial size bottles that they sent was empty! I told them I was going to post a negative comment on the internet and they said they were sorry but the best they could do was offer a 35% refund.
They finally gave me two cancel numbers as a guarantee that I would no longer be billed for any further purchases. This was all extremely misleading and I feel totally ripped off.

Then in checking my bank statement found out I had been charged $98.00 for one product and $94.00 for the other product. I called the company and was offered 35& refund, after threaning was then offered 50 & and after telling the girl on the phone I would report them to the better bussines bureau she told me she could give me the managers refund which was 75$ and I ingformed her I only received one product, she still did not listen to me and told me they both were mailed and received. I was so mad at these people. I started going through my bank statement and found out that they had also signed me up for 2 other products that I would be charged for. 1 was a discount products, and a discount buddy program and one would cost me & 29.00 and the other about the same. Beware if you order any products you make sure they do not hijack your bank account. The worse things is when they charged my bank account for these 2 charges it put. I have no contact information so I plan to go to the bank and file fraud charges.

My credit card company discovered the unusal transaction, so I found this ripoff scheme. I called the company to cancell the whole transaction and challenged the payments. They refused to send me a return label or refuned me the shipping fees.

Thought I was getting a sample for the cost of shipping - No where is it mentioned that there is a trial period of 14 days, which starts when the order is placed, not when it is received five days later, unless you click on the Terms and Conditions, it's about five paragraphs down. Very deceptive practices. I called to complain when the charges came through and they offered me a partial refund on two of the products. I figured it was the best deal I was going to get. I'm highly suspect any refunds will come through, so I will update this report if and when that happens. I have included jpegs of screen captures of their trial pages. It is worthy to note that one must remove all cookies before accessing these pages, as once their cookies are on your computer, any attempt to access the free trial pages results in a redirect to a blank page, in my case Google.
I was online on a acting website that I regularly use and a survery popped up offering a gift to complete the survey. I completed the survey and was offered the choice of 3 prizes, I chose Avoir Skin serum and was asked to complete a form giving my email, telephone and address for delivery as well as my credit card details to recieve the gift for $1.95 when the product was worth $99!
I received a receipt from Avoir Skin for $1.95 on September 23, 2014 and the product came in the post but on going through my credit statement a month later, I noticed a charge of $98.73 had also been taken on my account on October 7, 2014. I rang my credit card company and they told me to ring Avoir Skin and take it up with them.
I called Avoir Skin and they said that I had signed up to their skin trial and hadn't cancelled within 14 days. I said that I hadn't signed up to anything and had never visited their website; I had be given a gift of their product for completing an online survey. Avoir Skin said that in giving my address, email and telephone, I had agreed to sign up for their trial and accepted their terms and conditions. They flatly refused to acknowledge that I had ever been offered a gift and said that it was my fault that I hadn't read the terms and conditions. Avoir Skin AKA Radiant Skin know full well that they are tricking people into signing up to a trial by saying they are offering a gift and these companies and any of their products should be avoided.
Avoir Skin reluctantly gave me a 35% refund of $34.56 which they told me they were under no obligation to give and I closed the account (not that I'd known I even had an account with them).
I was really looking forward to ordering a sample of the Avoir and Velour Skin cream until I read several reviews like yours. It seems to work pretty well but they "automatically" charge you for a full-price product without notifying you. If the product is really that good, they wouldn't need to do that. People would be sending in orders by the thousands. I guess they shot themselves in the foot.

It is worthy to note that one must remove all cookies before accessing these pages, as once their cookies are on your computer, any attempt to access the free trial pages results in a redirect to a blank page, in my case Google.
I was online on a acting website that I regularly use and a survery popped up offering a gift to complete the survey. I completed the survey and was offered the choice of 3 prizes, I chose Avoir Skin serum and was asked to complete a form giving my email, telephone and address for delivery as well as my credit card details to recieve the gift for $1.95 when the product was worth $99!
I received a receipt from Avoir Skin for $1.95 on September 23, 2014 and the product came in the post but on going through my credit statement a month later, I noticed a charge of $98.73 had also been taken on my account on October 7, 2014. I rang my credit card company and they told me to ring Avoir Skin and take it up with them.
I called Avoir Skin and they said that I had signed up to their skin trial and hadn't cancelled within 14 days. I said that I hadn't signed up to anything and had never visited their website; I had be given a gift of their product for completing an online survey. Avoir Skin said that in giving my address, email and telephone, I had agreed to sign up for their trial and accepted their terms and conditions. They flatly refused to acknowledge that I had ever been offered a gift and said that it was my fault that I hadn't read the terms and conditions. Avoir Skin AKA Radiant Skin know full well that they are tricking people into signing up to a trial by saying they are offering a gift and these companies and any of their products should be avoided.
Avoir Skin reluctantly gave me a 35% refund of $34.56 which they told me they were under no obligation to give and I closed the account (not that I'd known I even had an account with them).
Scam or sort of a scam?
I was really looking forward to ordering a sample of the Avoir and Velour Skin cream until I read several reviews like yours. It seems to work pretty well but they "automatically" charge you for a full-price product without notifying you. If the product is really that good, they wouldn't need to do that. People would be sending in orders by the thousands. I guess they shot themselves in the foot.
