got a virus on my PC was contacted by Barewire LTD and the cost is $99.00 to fix PC and support for 6 months for any problem and you may have. you can have them tune up your computer at any time you wish, just call. they are very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. they do charge $199.00 for one year service and fix your problem and they guarantee all there work in writing too. I will keep using this service from now on. it is a good value with so much virus and crap that infects computers now and in the future. I give Barewire LTD a 5 star from my experience with this company.
This company charged an elderly family member close $1300.00 to fix a problem that previously did not exist (virus that was linked to a web site from this company). We were able to stop the process. Shame on this company for scamming. Do not use!
I have not had any trouble with my computer until yesterday when i tried to get on google and a message came up that my computer was having a problem. I called dell and they sent me to barewire ltd. I thought they were legitimate being dell recommended them. Now i am not sure after reading what other people are saying their experiences have been and i feel that i would like to be reimbursed and get a second opinion and not deal with a company that is in the uk.Do i have a few days to change my mind about this purchase? I hope so
I called Verizon for assistance and some how got transferred to Barewire. For 299.00 dollars they would clean mycomputer of any problems and increase itsl speed. I gave them my credit card number!! The first time I had a problem I called and they told me I did in the fire wall and that I had a trogan horse. For 299.00 they could repair the damage that the virus would cause. When I asked about the contract I had paid 299.00 forl I was told it didn't cover the firewall and I was about to loose my computer. Because I was over 65 they would do it for 199.00. I have a Mac and I knew he was lying as Mac has had no known virues. I hung up, never heard from them again and after 90 days my computer is working well.
My money is gone, I just am trying to prevent ssomeone from doing the same thing.
