I took my truck in for a state inspection for safety and emissions. I authorized an inspection of the vehicule but not any repairs to be commenced. Mr. Barrett decided to start fixing all the things that were supposedly wrong with it. I had taken it to Discount Tire co. just before his shop and they said it drove fine and looked good. He told me that it was not driveable out of his garage. He demanded at least $300 more than what we agreed in cash or would not let me have back my truck. He has since then seized it and is holding it hostage behind his gate which is now his own private property. I am out of a truck. This is a huge loss. I have to take him to court which who knows what will come of that. Steer clear of this scammer.
