Staying at kookaburra Lodge Sunpeaks - very nice looking place but managed under Bear Country Vacations. we are paying just under $500 per night and they dont even change the bed covers from previous guest. Their rationale - you have topsheets and the cover doesnt touch your skin!! What planet are they on? They suggested I wash the duvets - so i did - i spent the first two days of my two week vacation washing and drying the bedding. The last straw was a spare blanket from the cupboard which i have taken photos of the stains - I couldnt clean those, and nor should i! Aside from the bedding being filthy, no service clean until we leave (two weeks with no bathroom or unit clean - disgusting!) we have visited canada many times before and this is the only time we have encountered a poor state of service - shame on you Bear Country Vacation rentals - you let the industry down!
