I contacted Berger & Company Recycling on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 and spoke to a man who claimed to be a part owner of the business. I calmly asked for the president of the company, who my records showed to be Charles Sinel. I was told he was unavailble which is pretty common as he is the president of the company but when I asked if there was someone else available to speak with, be it at vice president or general manager I was told that there was two people. One that handled the ass holes, and the other that handled the pieces of shit like myself who was calling. This man had no knowldge what the nature of my call was nor what my intentions were, and I was accused of being a scam artist and a con man and probablly some type of cheap sales ni*ger. In fact I am a colleg student who is doing a research paper on how recylcing can be profitable and beneficial for the environment and my seach just so happened to return this company. I was schocked and appaled at how poorly someone could be treated by a man who claimed to be an owner of the company without even asking for the nature of my call. I called back and spoke to another man who a little kinder but not much and he somewhat apoligized but still did not ask what my call was in regard to and hung up on me. I would never recomend this company to anybody and frankly do not know how they stay in business as I am still shocked at how poorly they could treat someone, unaware if I was a potential customer, or a college student. Even if I was salesman I found the way they handled my call unprofessional to say the least and that is putting it mildly. I have never came across a more disrepectful company in my life!!!
