Bernardo Gil, a/k/a Bernie Gil, runs ads on craigslist for rooms in his house that he cannot rent out because of the City Of Tamarac prohibition on running a boarding house. Additonally, he is in violation of his HOA rules and their restrictive covenants for this 55 and older community. He takes first month rent and a security deposit, which he doesnt put in a trust account as required by Florida Law. Then, after a month, he tries to force you out and and keep your security deposit. He didnt get away with this with me because I called the police and know about Florida's Landlord Tenant Act because I am a retired lawyer. This guy is a snake. Dont rent a room from him. you have been warned
