The Worst company ever! Do not move with them they will rip you off. Typical scam and we fell for it! We can't believe we got caught up in this type of scam after searching for movers to move us from Florida to Illinois. Thought we researched the company but oh boy we were mistaken. Even had other movers to come and see for their own eyes how much we had to move in both places, they offer us to provide 150 boxes and tape for all we had in the storage unit and home. Then Best movers called us and said we can give you a better quote than the others did, so we fell for it as we were trying to save some money to buy furniture when we arrived to IL! What we didn't know is that they were going to get us big time when all our things were in the truck!!!
They did pick up the day they said, they called at 8:45am saying we will be there by 9:30am, they show up at 1:00pm. They make us sign all kind of forms, and they didn't let us read them at all as they were rushing us and of course they put a note in front of all papers saying we needed to give them 10% + of tip after all was in the truck, but they assure us they were doing this kind of move for 25 years and all was going to be okay! OKAY!!! NOT!!!!
After all was in the truck after picking up all boxes and items from both places which we help packed because they were in a rush to go to another place, Ray the supervisor of the crew came to us saying now we owed them double of what originally was quoted!!! When we call to get a quote we clearly explained them we had a lots of boxes and some furniture in a 10x10x10 storage unit almost full, plus boxes and other items in our house, which they say do not worry we will take care of it and of course everything was our fault when we tried to talk to the people at the company!. We were speachless, clearly upset, super tired and stress out!!! We spoke with the office and they were extremely rude, not cooperative and we couldn't get any reasoning out of them, so we gave Ray the cash money we had and said we will call the office to discuss further when we get to IL.
When I called to find out why there was such a discrepancy in price they were very fast talking and extremely rude. I tried to reason with them but the two ladies Rachel and Donna and they were as rude as can be. Even Donna hang up on me several times when I asked her to talk to the Supervisor/Owner Walter White. The would not give me a delivery date until I deposited more money in their bank of america account, which I had to send prove of it before they can put my things in a truck to deliver to IL. They threatened to leave my things back in Florida on the driveway and made it very clear that I had 2 days to go back to their warehouse to pick up my things and they told me they would keep all the money we already paid!! No one couldn't do anything for me or my husband, we were completely out of their mercy and we had to come up with the rest of the money in order to get our things.
When finally we got our things, which came in a 18 wheeler with only one guy, and once again we had to help moving things inside our place, almost EVERYTHING had some kind of damage; china broken, glasses broken, pictures broken, TV stand missing parts, things wet and messed up, chips in furniture, etc. They delivered someone else's part of a desk. We have read how to file for a claimm, but it seems we will not get anything back because of their pittance of insurance. I'm sure nothing we are going to waste our time trying to get something back, but I want everyone to know what kind of business that Best Movers of America is doing, so noone else get caught in this big mess.

The truth is that we got screwed and they are protected and we paid a lot of money to have NO PROTECTION whatsoever!!! Very Sad, Upsetting situation, we feel that this company took advantage of us two dissable people. I would never have moved my things if I had know what would happen. It was absolutely the worst, most stressful move ever our life and we have moved several times from state to state!!!!
