Better Business Bureau Reviews

I submitted a request to the Atlanta BBB for their assistance in resolving a problem with a contractor. The problem was non-compliance with contract terms regarding the issuance of a warranty on an installed air conditioning unit. The BBB used a pretext to prematurely close the case before the problem was resolved. It is my impression that they were more interested in saving their time and energy than in finding whatever truth existed and helping me resolve the problem. I do not know how to reach higher levels within BBB to contest this decision for if it stands, I am left wondering in what specifics is ever of any value.

So you get scammed by a bad shitty business, you turn to BBB for help. Guess what happens next will cause jaw dropping.

I recently filed a complaint for money ripoff against a business in Ohio. The Ohio BBB director of operations Patrick Cassidy told me they are unable to handle my complaint as my complaint does not fall within the scope or purview of BBB Complaint Acceptance Guidelines. I asked him to explain why it is not within the scope. He showed me the standard BBB webpage called “What complaints do we handle?”.

I reviewed it and know my complaint is not on that list so I explained to Ohio BBB’s Patrick Cassidy. He’d never respond. He never returned my two voice mails as well. What is more SHOCKING, when I called in, none of the staffs in his office could find my complaint any more. He deleted it!! I am pretty sure this is against company policies and a misbehavior. I filed again. He told me the same thing and deleted my complaint entirely from BBB’s system as well!!

I filed complaint about his behavior to BBB headquarter. They even have a link allowing you to file complaint against a BBB office. But I guess that link is more of a decoration. So someone from BBB quickly responded and told me to contact another person, Kristi Furguson, Director of Data Quality & Standards at Ohio BBB. Kristi Furguson was initially more flattering. But once she heard BBB headquarters have closed my complaint and asked me to deal with her directly, she started gaming and get more loose. Yes these disgusting people.

In the end, she made the same decision as Pat Cassidy did. What is more weird, while emailing me, she is cc-ing Patrick Cassidy the whole time! This is the shady, discipline violating person who’d dare to delete BBB complaints record. Kristi Furguson must be trying to flatter Patrick by showing she is on his side. These two DISGUSTING and UGLY WORMS. However she could never be able to come up with facts and reasoning to support her conclusion why it is not within the complaint policy, just like Patrick Cassidy. The only thing she said is it looks like we disagree.

I get back to the BBB headquarter staff, Leslie Baughn, Mgr, Operational Standards & Assessment. Earlier I already told her I am afraid Ohio BBB will act like they are helping but in the end the result will be the same when she closed my BBB headquarter case and asked me to talk to Kristi Furguson directly. Leslie never commented on it. So now I am getting back to her to let her know what I predicted earlier just happened. I said Ohio BBB could never come up with a reason to argue my case is within the BBB complaint scope. Leslie said she agreed with Ohio BBB and tried to tell me why. I then gave her more info and facts, and she could never argue it is not in the scope as well any more.

I asked to speak to a supervisor at the headquarters. Beverly Baskin called me. She is gaming the whole time acting like she wouldn’t be able to get or understand what I am saying. I have to keep repeating the same thing I said over and over again just because she pretends she couldn’t get it. I have had enough life experience to know that when someone is acting like their intelligence is lower than normal and couldn’t understand simple phrases and the situation you are describing, they are just lying and trying to get around about and get away from the matter. So I confronted Beverly Baskin for playing games. She finally has to call the game an end. After no longer being able to act like she couldn’t understand or what I am saying doesn’t make sense, she finally couldn’t say it is not within the scope any more.

She then asked me to give more info on the business. She look into the business and told me there are no other complaint so she can’t do anything about it. OMG I haven’t heard BBB won’t contact a bad business just because they have no existing complaint. Or who knows if there is any existing complaint or not. Poor and cunning Beverly Baskin still won’t take justice under her wings but chose to be disgustful and made a final struggle against the ethics. She maintained her position to not go against Ohio BBB, part of her organization, even at the cost of negative reviews.

I have seen people take side not based on what is right or wrong, but what is related to their benefits the majority of the time, and these ugly people made me totally want to vomit. BBB and BBB Ohio, you are just clowns. Let people laugh on you. Regarding Patrick Cassidy, I bet he is probably somehow familiar with or related to the business I complained. I have realized Ohio is such a small, and scammer saturated state.

It is profoundly hypocritical, sanctimonious, and ironic that the fakest and most corrupt "consumer protector" on earth, the better business bureau Bbb), an "f" rating. The company had refused to refund my money and accept the return of their proven-fraudulent product, but the bbb dismissed my complaint and vindicated the firm because they had previously paid the bbb their extortion fee, i mean "accreditation" fee Lmao!).

The bbb still rates the criminal company "a+", despite the fact that hundreds of "closed complaints" are noted in their bbb file! merely because the bbb rules that complaints were handled satisfactorily by a company does not mean that the complainants were made happy, only that the bbb was using their completely bogus standard of whether or not a company has paid the bbb their extortion fee! i would bet that none of the referenced company's complaners were satisified with the bbb's "intervention".

The bbb is nothing more than a criminal enterprise that extorts money from both honest and corrupt companies alike, in return for the bbb's meaningless "accreditation" status and default "a+" rating.

The bbb even had the gaul to try to extort over $1,000 from my company to pay their "accreditation" fee. I refused to pay and replied that i intended to expose the bbb's fraud via web posts. Even though my own company has dealt with over 40,000 satisfied customers and has never had even a single bbb complaint, the bbb lists my corporation only as "unaccredited" because i have refused to pay their ridiculous $1,000-plus extortion fee. My company's true rating should be "a+" because we have never had a complaint, but "unaccredited" has a negative implication. The bbb is actually a company itself that is run by businesspeople.

The bottom line is that the bbb is an extremely dishonest criminal enterprise that has zero credibilty with knowledgeable consumers. There are far more honest and credible organizations that reveal the true colors of companies and their products, such as consumer reports, yelp, pissedconsumer.com.

Last June I had a terrible auto collision repair, in November I filed my complaint with the BBB here in Milwaukee.

I had never received invoice or repair order and requested the BBB look into this. After 3 months of negotiating, or arguing rather, the BBB labled complaint resolved. I had submitted outrageously bad auto pics, all the details necessary and the question of certifications. The Auto shop owner has to this day refused to let me know what was done to my car, and I've spent hundreds trying to locate a leak that has caused electrical damage rendering my Lexus worthless. BBB had pics of bumper attatched with masking tape and so forth, never did a thing.

I figured if the business at least lost their A+ rating perhaps more people would not go through this nightmare. They never even looked into the certifications nor questioned the business, NOTHING! Business still maintains a A+ even though their practices are nearly criminal.

My attorney called ICAR and of course, Tender Car had no ICAR certifications whatsoever. BBB doesn't care as long as they receive their fees. Sickening.

if anyone wants to get involved in class action please respond to this complaint, I'm all over it.

After having been most unsuccessful with my BBB claim against Elevate GF (WholeNutra and Healthizon) last December due to the business' insistently detestable disposition to provide recompense for a product I purchased from them and used for 18 months with no result, I think it is equitable for me to state how the Better Business Bureau in Denver truly conducted itself with my person. I believe that all but one representative demonstrated a genuine interest in assisting me with my case and I am not even referring to the person that was in charge of forwarding my responses to the business. Quite sincerely, I do not think that I received due attentiveness while my case was open.

I sent the BBB representative many messages via email concerning additional information about my disagreeable experience with WholeNutra only to not be acknowledged at all. The only two messages she ever sent to me were of generic and detached nature. In addition, my case was precipitously closed without, again, any kind of acknowledgement about the action taken. Altogether, I was rather dejected with this consumer agency's conduct and in spite of WholeNutra's indisposition to refund the money I spent on their utter swindle, Teri Martinez (trade practice specialist at the Denver BBB) and some other representatives who assisted me by telephone could have been more considerate and appreciative about the matter I submitted to the Denver BBB with the hopes of being assisted in a more satisfactory manner than they did during the duration of the case's validity.

Im Writting this report as it is essential i do as i made it clear if they continue to support a con artists and a scammer with a A+ Rating i believe the public should be warned.

I was scammed by a company www.celebritytalent.net of 35 thousand dollars.

He claimed he had the celebrity at question interested in a charitable event i was hosting.

Turned out it was all a lie and he used the celebrities name in contract and claimed that the money was to be sent to the celebrity. Not a dollar was, nor was the celebrity interested nor did he have any confirmation from any celebrity.

Glenn Richardson of celebritytalent.net then went on to say that the money was his retainer as he had committed over 6 months of work, yet had no evidence to support it.

After doing thourough investigation we found Both Glenn Richardson and his wife of celebritytalent.net operate a scamming online business in a shared office space and have 7 liens againts then with many court appearances and 2 bankrupticies.

However they carry the A+ rating of the BBB ? How is it possible.

more information of www.celebritytalent.net please look up www.beware-celebritytalent.net.

After we made contact with BBB we had sent them all the evidence of www.clebritytalent.net exposing there scam with email trails of evidence and his bankruptcy files to prove he is not a authentic business and he is nothing but a scammer, not only did celebritytalent.net committ fraud, we have a Police file on him as well as supporting evidence Glenn Richardson went online destroying a charitable event he was not associated with, destroying the credibility of the company and accusing the owner of the business as being mentally disturbed, a real pathetic attempt.

That was his way of trying to convince people who read the negative posts about him, that the author was menatally disturbed.

We asked BBB to investigate the situation and to write an article of this con man and his scam and of course to strip him of his A+ rating as some people do actually believe that BBB is actually on the consumers side and they actually do anything.

This is the responce we recieved from BBB

The company responded to your complaint and specifically adressed your issues.

We had sent through a complaint and backed it up with evidence of email trials and it was clear as day that the company was leing, when we adressed this and proved it was the case, they responded to say,

This is all we expect them to do.

So due to the fact that www.celebritytalent.net is a scam and has the support of BBB i believe it is very important that the ppublic read this report possibly even have journalists write a story as it is emportant that people should know the scams companies do and they have the full support of BBB, so if you see this A+ plus rating on any website, just know simply that it has just been through a paid membership and has nothing to do with the credability of the company at all.

Julien Brown who is the director of complaints still believes that www.celebritytalent.net is a credible company, so i made it very clear that it will be BBB on ripp off report as people should know that they are just as Pathetic as the scammer if they continue to support one after reviewing all the evidence.

You can view more on how poorly BBB actually do operate by googling BBB time article they had been totally exploited how bad they really are.

We give them a F , F for Failure to do whats right, support ascammer for as little as $454.

Be Warned people www.celebritytalent.net is a scam and has just paid a membership to BBB for the rating. They are con artists and scammers and when you research them you can download there bankruptcy files as they are now on public display.

This BBB refused to help a victim of psychic fraud. A consumer reported a psychic that ripped them off $350.00. The psychic only has an internet website and email. Client told the BBB they did not remember the location of the physical address. BBB would not investigate because a physical address was not available.

Client contacted the BBB and provided the BBB with two addresses. Now the BBB refused to investigate because the addresses were resedential.

Client once again contacted BBB and told them that the addresses may be residential but that is where the client visited the psychic.

The BBB all but called the consumer a liar. They said that since the consumer said they did not remember the address in their first correspondence and the addresses provided appeared residential, they addresses had to be residential. Client tried to explain to BBB that after client found the addresses, they remembered visiting psychic at that location. BBB didn't want to hear it. BBB insisted that since the client did not remember the address to begin with they did not believe that this was where the psychic did business. They wanted documentation. Are they kidding? This is a psychic. They aren't going to leave a paper trail. They caused consumer, who has been ripped off by a psychic and spammed by the psychic, additional frustration and mental anguish by their lazy uncooperative attitudes. And these people are getting paid!!

BBB said they "could not" contact the psychic by phone or email because the psychic told them not to and refused to verify a physcial address. Is this BBB for real? Of course the psychic isn't going to cooperate, psychics are frauds.

This is unbelievable. Don't waste your time and energy going to the BBB, particularly not this one.

The vice president of the BBB is close friend of the legal council of the auto dealer.

she used that influence to prejudice the arbitration in favor of the car dealer who is also a millionaire

and one of the wealthiest people in town.

The BBB is not impartial and is "for sale"

to the highest bidder.

In case number one, Ricky Simmons incurred a debt to my company of which the BBB's job was to recognize the services rendered and issue a refund accordingly.

In case number two the evidence showed that the double door was removed and reinstalled and lawyer said he did not know anything about construction and did not understand the procedure reimbursing the consumer money she did not deserve.

The better business bureau is the oldest racket in United States history. It's on a historic level comparable to bernie madoff Ponzi scheme. The orginization is not a government agency or is it affiliated with the government. It is a for profit company that charges every acredited memeber a fee in return for accreditation. The companies who refuse to pay receive a F rating and their business faces losing tons of clients because of the misleading presence the BBB creates. Unfortunately people believe the BBB is a goverent agency when in fact it is a huge scam. The worst part about the BBB is that anyone can go write and submit a complaint even if it is completely false and the BBB does not have any proven method of providing evidence to back of complaints. I hope to public sees this complaint and it opens eyes to the BBB.
