Bitdefender is a fraudulent security software company. Be AWARE!!! They are selling the version Bitdefender Total Security 2915 with many useless features that they claim to function normally, but in reality many features are totally useless when installed on computers. There is no back-ups feature possible on your system unless you pay for extra storage (after only 2 gig), but worst than that the shredder and vault for shredding or storing bad infested files are not working at all, also many other features are grey out and unusable. Just installed the software 2 days ago and already infested with files that are not removable. Please don't make the same mistake as i did and save your money, because many other security software company out there are by far much better quality and they are running honnest, reliable and genuine security software. Bottom line (from someone with experience in security software), don't believe like i did in all the fake reviews out there, this is the worst crap security software that i bought in my life so far!
I had had enough with Bitdefender service, and I finally decided to remove the program. I simply put the program into the trash can and that is when all of the problems began.
I later went to find the program in my files to see if there was a "Remove Application" file, as there should be, and I could find nothing.
Now it appears as though the program is destined to remain on my computer until the year is up, then I have my doubts that it will be completely removed.
I just want their program off my computer. It comes up at the beginning and slows down my machine and does other squirrly things to my computer that never happened before.
I went to the internet and did a search for "How to remove Bitdefender," and found that it is this arduous process that I dont want to go through!!
I believe that their intentions are good, but that they have missed a few steps with regards to those who are not so computer savvy, and who are dissatisfied with the product
I feel that the piddly amount of money involved, is not an issue. I just want to see a program that, if I do the wrong thing trying to remove it, nevertheless leaves a "Remove Application" file on my machine to make it easy for me to exit. I hate feeling captive to their product - and its in my face every time I start my machine!
