I can confirm James Knight is a scam artist, as I worked with him at Giant Studios on Avatar. He claims he was the project manager on Avatar, when in reality he was a runner.
Project managing on a film that big involves much more than just getting people coffee, following up on emails, being a liaison between 2 department, and telling people you're "above the line".
Project managing a film includes shoot planning, sequence planning, spreadsheets, coordination, assignments, constant dialogue with production, producers and the director. James Knight did NON of this.
He's using his credit on the film to get possible investors excited to throw money in his direction. He owes tens of thousands of dollars to people - including his family members.
He hired a lot of his "friends" from Giant to work for him under Knight Vision, where he eventually drove that into the ground by making promises he couldn't not keep. He ended up owing all his employees thousands, and decided to bankrupt the business instead of paying his friends. He's convinced Universal Studios that he is legit and is still doing "business" there. He takes advantage of weak people giving them false hope and sense of security, while dangling carrots of fortune in front of them.
The little work that HAS come through his studio is mediocre at best - nothing close to Avatar, Giant Studios, Weta Digital quality. There is NOTHING remotely special about his Phase Space system - which he swindled into possession. Oh and he doesn't own the licenses either - he still has to pay someone to use this system he claims to have ownership over.

BLUSTREAK MEDIA (EGBERT NOR JAMES producered of supervised the producion of the motion capture for KING KONG, REAL STEEL, AVATAR, TIN TIN, IRON MAN, CALL OF DUTY etc. GIANT STUDIOS ONLY CAPTURED THE MOTION CAPTURE DATA. James previous company was called Knight Vision Motion Capture Studios. He shut down his company "in the middle of the Knight". He owed employees money (read previous rip off reports), he owed producers / production companies money. He was being sued by numerous companies and individual's... and he tried to seek bankruptcy protection when his wife divorced (he was not only a cheat in business, he was a cheating husband). He ripped off Giant Studios Demo footage and claimed it to be Knight Vision Studios.
James and Egbert are doing the same thing...they are using Giant Studios Demo Reel as their own. BLuStreak was not even in business when any footage on their Demo Reel was created. James and Egbert DID NOT create the Footage, They Stole it. James and Egbert were NEVER Motion Capture Supervisors. Infact SONY fired James from Spiderman and Waner Brothers Sued him.

Reel Steel, King Kong and Avatar were Giant Studios jobs not BluSteak. James was fired by Giant for listing himself on the credits of Avatar as the Motion Capture Supervisor. On IMDB he changed it to Performance Capture Project Manager.. what a joke. All he did on Avatar for 3 and a half years was to schedule call times for mocap actors, and a handfull of giant mocap operators. He had nothing to do with running the mocap. Watch the end credits on an Avatar DVD, and you will see how James listed himself.. which led to his firing. Call Candice or Matt at Giant Studios. 310-839-1999. James was kicked out of Sony, Raleigh Studios and Warner Bros. He and Knight Vision Studios.
James has numcerous lawsuits filed against him and Knight Vision Sudios. That forced him out of business. He did not pay his employees or taxes.
