BMW of Las Vegas Reviews

  • Dec 11, 2014

We bought a BMW on Sept 2, 2014 from this dealership and have been unable to register our car because the dealer has failed to produce the title for processing. If I am correct the state of Nevada has a 30 day time limit for an auto dealer to provide title to a sold car. As of the date of this report it has been 101 days and still no title.

Our state Dept of Motor Vehicles tells us they can no longer issue temporary registration and suggests we take the car back as the dealership is in violation of state law.

We are filing this report only now after numerous phone calls to the dealership over the last 80 days. We have been told "I will call you back in just a few minutes", and "I will call you back in 5 minutes", and "let me look into this and I will call you back shortly", all by the General Sales Manager, a Mr. Steve Boyd. The latest call being today, the day we are filing this report. Today, I advised him that I would file a report with the state of Nevada and seek legal counsel if he did not resolve the issue. Still this Sales Manager does not have the diplomacy nor professionalism to do what he says, nor to resolve a problem before it becomes a bigger problem.

What kind of nationwide company would tolerate that type of behavior? Let alone involving an obvious clear cut legal issue where they are at fault? Who would want the kind of attention that they are going to be getting now?

So, we file this report here, will forward a copy and link to everybody I can find with Auto Nation, the parent company, will file a report with the state of Nevada, and seek out a legal action tomorrow.
