Brampton Transit Reviews

  • Aug 1, 2014

Brampton Transit needs to restore the production and sale of adult, student and senior bus tickets immediately. They also need to restore the production and sale of paper monthly transit passes immediately for those who want them. Paper adult tickets are far superior to passes and Presto cards because they don't expire the way time limited passes and cards do and I know exactly how many ticket fares I have left at a simple glance. Presto cards are expensive ($8 or more), inconvenient, slow to load up (24 hours or more) and their RFID technology is subject to loss of personal information/unauthorized debiting and can cause cancer and other adverse health effects. Do Brampton politicians want the City to be liable for multi-million dollar lawsuits due to such adverse health effects?
