Brandefined Insightsmarketing Slick Sales Pitch and then cheat you, Internet

Ripping Off Realtors!

Brandefined calls you with a slick sales pitch to exclusively advertize you and brand you on Facebook in a particular zip code. They tell you how other big producers have already taken the best zip codes and you had better get yours now. They imply that no other realtors will be in your zip code. This is not the truth.

As it turns out it is not exclusive at all. Any realtor can advertize in that zip code. Their exclusive is that they will not sell their service to another realtor in that zip code.

They tell you that the ad will be very prevalent. I never saw my ad, nor did anyone I know see it. I live and work in the zip code I ordered and am on Facebook often.

They are way over charging for ads you can build yourself on Facebook for pennies a click. And when I tried to cancel my account using their cancelation instructions they claimed not to have received it and continued to charge me. And would not credit my account for the over charge. I have called my credit card company to report them.

Brandefined Insights Marketing Group Billed for services not provided and after cancelation; did not return emails Beaverton, Oregon

A young sounding enthusiastic sales person, Ethan Swaney, called from 'Brandefined' offering to set up a Face Book marketing campaign for a monthly fee, no contract, and one time set up charge.

They required a credit card but promised not to bill until the program was approved and launched.

A Nathan LaPierre contacted me a few days after the first discussion to discuss the ads they would create, but they took another three weeks from first contact to show them to me and, they say, launch the campaign which I have no way of knowing they actually ever did, and in fact based on Google analytics am pretty sure they never did.

However they had billed my company credit card immediately without waiting for my approval, which I did not catch immediately. After emailing the sales person and Nathan La Pierre asking for updates a Mike Yake emailed to say he would be allocating to me a market strategist. He then emailed to say it would be him, Mike. When I emailed back with questions and request for explanation of the lack of information he never responded. I never received any further strategical consultation just the one email and no response to my questions.

I had agreed to try the service if I received weekly analytics report from them detailing where and how often my ads had been placed and if my own Google analytics showed results from the ads. My own analytics showed no results and

they never provided the detailed reports or proof of services rendered that I had requested.

I canceled the service within one month but they continued to charge my card. I had to put a block on their company charge with my credit card company.

Their former company, Insights Marketing Group was notorious for running the same kind of scam and they do admit to having been formerly associated with this company, but when asked, explicitly explain that they separated from them

because of bad business practices. Apparently they have not separated and are up to the same tricks.

Well turns out they cold called all of my other real estate friends and was already working with three of them who had quit their services after a month because they figured out they were being ripped off! The easiest internet scam of them all is to sell advertising by unprofessional, no degree, lying people to a business. As a small business owner I thought they would help me, they said well why don't we try this out for a month then RIPPED ME OFF! They passed me from a cold caller then set me up an appointment to speak with a "facebook strategist" AKA a sales person who is trained to scam people! they said oh this will help brand you and make you popular, bring you tons more business. well I trusted them and they charged my credit card the same day AFTER telling me they wouldn't charge my card until I started the service which was a week later. the next week when i had my appointment they passed me to a designer who asked me maybe three questions about my business, some generic quesions like what kind of real estate do you sell, they didn't care about my business they just wanted to talk to me for 20 minutes then make the crappiest ad I have ever seen in my life during the same time frame so they can talk to someone else. they never called to check in, or sent me reports, or did anything. this is the biggest scam company ever. I did not receive a single phone call or website click from any of these ads, when I called and demanded a report or proof I had an ad with them they sent me some report that had information cut out of it. I contacted a local advertiser who has a degree in business and another in advertising and has been doing this professionally and honestly for years said facebook is a huge waste of money, no one ever clicks on those ads or sees them and these kind of companies will bring in fake clicks and likes if they have to if you start to pay attention and think you are being scammed. which is exactly what they did after i complained, i started getting more likes but NO calls for my business at all. it was all fake and a huge scam. they charged me 400 dollars every month and when I told them to cancel the service they continued to bill me for months afterwards and refused to give me a refund when I had no ads running. While investigating further I found out they used to have two different companies that did the same thing, scam others for advertising which they shut down and changed the name to Brandefined. How sick to find out. My sales person at brandefined was extrememly rude to me when I told him I am reporting all charged to my credit card company. the sales person then told me if I spent more money with them that I would get more likes. likes are not bringing calls to my phone to set up house viewing appointments. this is a huge scam company and i advise anyone with a small business to please stay away from them, you can use the money you waste with them on REAL advertising. go to a professional, someone who will help you and not steal your money. don't listen to their lies of "it doesn't work for everyone but your business has worked before", they will send you a fake made up report to try and show you that they have a right to steal your hard earned money. listen to these reports and the reviews they haven't managed to pay someone to take down. they also write a lot of fake good reviews on yellow pages.

Brandefined They repeatedly call and harass to solicit business after I have asked them to cease and reported them. I have no previous experience with this company but I think they found my name on Facebook so th Internet

They keep calling me after I have asked them to stop calling me. They are telemarketers and they won't stop. I have no relationship with this company whatsoever. This is harassment. I have reported them to the Do Not Call Registry numerous times for these violations. This is insane.

We believe strongly that small businesses make up the backbone and engine of our country, and that a strong small business translates into a stronger community. That’s why our mission is to adapt, develop, and implement big brand strategies for small businesses.

In our opinion, an advertising company cannot dictate a strategy to a client, but must instead cultivate said strategy by building a relationship through an extensive dialogue. We focus on educating our clients instead of selling them, and we strongly believe that once small business owners fully understand the way these advertising venues work together, they will make the right choice.

We educate our clients the same way whether they sign up for our services or not. We do this with the hope that, when a client needs a hand, they will turn to us.
