I was moving about 30 minutes away and intended on leaving my old washer and dryer for the new home owners. I work very hard and have a small baby. I asked the lady at the company over the phone to sell me the best washer and dryer she had because i didn't want to be without one at my new house. I told her we were moving and where we were moving to. She said she had the perfect one and that it came with a 30 day warranty and that they would deliver it to my old house so that it could go on the moving truck with everything else. We hired movers and moved the day after the washer and dryer was delivered. The first time we used it, water started pouring down in our living room. We called a plumber because we were unsure where the water was coming from. My husband and the plumber saw water coming from directly under the washer, and the plumber noted it on his work order. It cost me $100 for the plumber and $1200 to fix the ceiling in our new house. When i called the company, I was told I was out of luck for the warranty because I had moved unless we brought it back to them...which I had no way to do and she was told I was moving when I purchased it and said nothing. They even refused to come and pick up the washer and dryer and just return what I paid. I will be filing a small claims suit for the cost of the appliances, the repair work on the ceiling and for the plumber coming out. What a horrible experience!
