TOTAL SCAM, HORRIBLE PEOPLE, RUDE, PUSHY, NO CLASS. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE EVER.
FIRST RED FLAG: they direct all calls to a 1-800 number with a massive call center where the "operators" follow a generic script.
SECOND RED FLAG: they won't tell you any pricing information over the phone and when I arrived, in person, they still wouldn't tell me any pricing info. I was told I had to first sit through a 90 minute meeting to discuss my entire dating history, etc, without even knowing what they charge. OBVIOUSLY, IF THEY HAVE TO WORK THIS HARD TO "HIDE THE BALL," THEY ARE ASHAMED OF THEIR PRICING.
THIRD RED FLAG: I arrived with my sister. I was told that she couldn't sit in on the meeting because it was against "corporate policy." When asked for the reason for such a policy, the lady flat out lied and said that "she had no idea." Sounds suspicious. Especially when the policy is enforced without comprehension.....as she claimed. I'm sorry but there is no way that she doesn't understand the real reason for this "corporate policy." She obviously knows the reason and didn't want to tell us the reason because it would have exposed the company for it's true colors....a scam! MY GUESS IS THAT THEIR SCAM TECHNIQUES WORK BETTER ONE ON ONE SO THEY HAVE A CORPORATE POLICY TO NOT ALLOW GUESTS.
FOURTH RED FLAG: When we first arrived, without receiving any introductions or pleasantries, the lady points to my sister and says "who are you and what are you doing here?" It was VERY awkward. This lady clearly has no sense of customer service, etiquette, how to speak to people, or even just basic common decency.
FIFTH RED FLAG: The lady at the local office was incredibly rude and off-putting. I was shocked to learn that the meeting would take 90 minutes. I told her I didn't know it would take that long. In response she told me "I'm sure they told you. I can go pull the recorded phone call and prove it to you." Ummmmm, what?? Am I suddenly in a competition? Since when is it appropriate to be so aggressive to a potential customer? If she was really "worried" about whether or not the operators were doing their job well, she didn't have to involve me in her concerns. She could have simply said "I'm sorry if there was any miscommunication and yes, it takes 90 minutes." Period.
SIXTH RED FLAG: Before leaving I asked her if there were any brochures or pricing information that I could take home. I said then I could at least get a better idea before coming back. She told me they have nothing in writing and I could only find out the information with a 90 minute meeting. Hmmmm, this sounds pretty odd. Nothing in writing? Must be that they are trying to cover something up.
So then I told the lady.... "look we are going to leave, because I am not going to send my sister off somewhere to kill time for the next 90 minutes. I would have rescheduled but now that I have met you, based on your off-putting behavior, I'm not sure there's any reason to come back. Honestly, at this point, I'm quite turned off by how you have spoken to us and how you have handled everything. You could have been polite, and professional, but since you haven't been, I'm not sure I would want you as a matchmaker." Her response? Not "oh wow so sorry" or "we stand by our customer service let me make it up to you" or "sorry for the miscommunication, please come back and give us a chance." Her response was "ok, that's fine."
THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE GAVE BOTH OF US THE CREEPS!
BUT I CAN SAY ONE THING IS FOR SURE, I AM SO GLAD THAT I EXPERIENCED THEIR BAD BEHAVIOR UP FRONT. IT SAVED ME FROM WASTING MY VALUABLE TIME. AND, FROM THE EXPERIENCE, IT WAS CLEAR TO ME THAT THE COMPANY IS VERY SKETCHY. OBVIOUSLY, THEY ARE HIDING BEHIND "CORPORATE POLICIES" SO THAT THEY CAN GET YOU IN THERE TO SCAM YOU. THEY WASTE YOUR TIME FOR 90 MINUTES AND THEN FINALLY TELL YOU PRICING. THERE'S NO WAY THAT THEY ACTUALLY PROVIDE A LEGITIMATE MATCHMAKER SERVICE. THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN.
