I have recieved these collection letters from the same company indicating I owed over $1000.00 from a debt on a Sears credit card. I have never owned a Sears credit card. I did a check on my credit report thinking it could have been identity theft, but nothing showed up.
Also, my name on all letters are spelled incorrectly.
Each letter explains the circumstances of not paying such debt with threats of reporting such debt to my credit report. Each letter only giving me 30 days to decide to pay the "pay off" amount which is substantually lower than the original debt. I have been recieving these letters since January 2012.
I will not call them, nor contact them in any manner. Looking on here and at other reporting sites, I realized this collection claim is farse.
