Capital Tow, Inc. Reviews

What a joke of a company, they have an agreement with my apartment complex to tow the vehicles that don't belong out of there.

But they are NEVER there towing, and won't tow vehicles upon request of residences.

They could be making TONS of money if they'd bother to tow at my apartment complex and would keep up with their contract.

To whom It May Concern:

On Friday October 3 around 5:30p.m. I had been to the grocery store for my handicapp brother. He was home sick with a virus. Therefore, I am rushing back home to attend to his needs, because he is a diabetic and a stroke patience.

I live with my brother at Hometowne At Matador Ranch Active Senior Living Apartments. As I return to the Apartments , I pulled into the Handicapp parking as I usually do, if the space is aviavable, and I place my Tag over the mirror inside my vechile.

On Saturday morning October 4, 2014, I goes to my car so I can go to church. I can't find my car!! I thought someone had stolen my car, I find out from a resident, that Home Towne At Matador Ranch had towed my vechile, because I failed to place my tag on the mirror, which I thought I had done.

I have never parked in a handicapp parking without displaying my handicapp sign.

I am very disappointed in HomeTowne At Matador Ranch and Capital Tow Inc. because I display Capital Tow Inc. sticker in my window as well. And my car is registered with the Apartment to let them know I am legally a resident at those apartments.l.

I am filing a complaint on Hometowne at Matador Ranch and Capital tow, because they know my vehicle and they my brother is handicapp and I don't park and I wouldn't park in a handicapp parking illegal!

I am asking for the two Capital Tow or Hometowne at Matador Ranch or both to reimburst me the sum of $275.00

I was told by a resident that Hometowne recieve a kickback if they tow people vechiles. Please help me because this was an oversite on my part.

Capital Towing contracts with Lone Star Auctions to sell the vehicles they tow when the owner is unable to recover their vehicle. The auctions are held on line & you are allowed to view the cars before bidding.

Capital has two storage locations. One in Fort Worth, and one in Dallas. I've been to both. The problem is with the Dallas location. After viewing a vehicle and verifing the condition I purchased the SUV. After paying for it I returned with a wrecker to pick it up. Someone had damaged the interior, torn down part of the engine, and some parts were now missing. I understand the sale is "as is" condition. That doesn't give the employee's of Capital Tow the right to take what they want after the auction has closed. That is theft. It was no longer their car.

When brought to the attention of the President for Capital Tow I was told none of their drivers would ever steal anything. No background checks for any of the drivers was offered as proof though.

I will never do business with Capital Tow again.
