CardCash Inc. Reviews

I ordered from this company several times but will never do so again. On Feb 9, 2015 I ordered several cards but the one in question was a Body Central card for my wife. Paid $70 for a $100 valued card (30% off) great value right?? Not so fast.....

We tried to use it March 4, 2015 at a store we knew of in Orlando Mall....not there anymore. Called 3 other stores in Orlando to get out of business messages. Got back home and did a search to find

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-01-09/body-central-to-close-all-265-stores-fire-2-500-workers

Body Central closed their doors 30 days before CardCash sold me their card.

So I am within my 45 day Cardcash guarantee so I file a claim with them but a week later and several emails I have ZERO communication back from them......so I call them today at 20 minutes until 5pm NJ time. I am on hold for 15 to 18 minutes when like 3 minutes before 5 a young Cardcash employee answers the phone and we start talking and I give her the 6 digit number and start explaining my problem when she realizes this is going to take longer than the 2 minutes she has before closing time so SHE HANGS UP THE PHONE ON ME !!!!

Of course I hit redial and get the message "you have called after closing time"

That caused me to write this review.

They have not refunded me at the time I am writing this review nor have they taken down the cards they are dumping onto customers like me.

I called another gift card reseller I use and they took down their inventory of cards 15 minutes after I told them about Body Central closing

They may refund me or maybe not but regardless I will never use this company again because their core values are in high question to me.

Selling cards they know can not be used,

Employees that hang up on customers

Non reply to issues for over a week

No thanks, I will shop elsewhere

Cardcash.com had a promotion. You give them the gift card numbers, they "repurpose" the gift cards, and send you a Wal-Mart e-gift card. I gave cardcash.com my gift card numbers from several cards, a total of around $200. Subsequently, they stole the money from my cards, and did not send the Wal-Mart e-gift card. Cardcash.com will not respond to emails. Cardcash.com will not respond to phone calls - you are automatically sent to a computer that won't let you talk to an actual person. Please learn from my mistakes - the people at Cardcash.com are common thieves, crooks, and will steal your money. Hopefully a class action lawsuit will follow sometime in the near future and shut these people down.

I mailed my $650. worth of gift cards to Card Cash on 12/22/14. I am still waiting for my direct deposit. I was assured that once my gift cards had been received, it would take 48 hours to get the deposit. Well, it is 1/20/15. I have contacted their "customer service" and sent numerous emails. I have waited three hours on the phone to speak to Sandra, two hours only to be disconnected and now I am on 1.5 hours on wait time. I have received on email telling me that my cards were in escalations, apparently a common issue with this disastrous group. Now, the other cards have been canceled? Funny, where are my cards? I have asked/demanded and still receive no word.

These crooks wanted my bank acct #, routing #, last 4 digits of my Social Security #, and a copy of my driver's license in order to process the payment for the gift card I sold them. Since I had agreed to an Amazon.com gift card in exchange for my card, I could not understand why this should be required. When I questioned it, they told me it was necessary to prevent "fraud".

Fearing identify theft, I refused to provide this information and they promised to return my card. That didn't happen so I was forced to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the NJ Attorney General Consumer's Affair Dept.

I finally got my card back six weeks after I had sent it to them. It's beyond me why they are still in operation when it is clearly a scam.

Cardcash sold me an invalid Pottery Barn gift card and refused to replace/refund because I did not use it within 45 days of purchase. I filed a complaint with the BBB and they still refused to stand behind their product.

Bought $100 dunkin' donuts gift card

did not use within CardCash 45 day guarantee

did try to use the card months later and it was deactivated

checked with Dunkin' Donuts ... resale of their cards is specifically prohibited (listed on back of card). They deactivate any cards they are made aware of that were sold through third parties

I asked Cardcash to respond even after their 45 day guarantee period ... respond to Dunkin' Donuts charge that they are not allowed to resell their cards. I receive no response.

I've done a couple previous deals with CardCash.com / ABC Gift Cards, Daniel Singer and Alex, his boss. After we agreed on a price and I overnight the product they refused to pay. CardCash.com / ABC Gift Cards held my cards hostage as a negotiating tactic. I have emails, text messages and recorded phone calls confirming the deal and agreed upon price then the subsequent threats to not pay and keep my cards. They eventually paid what they thought was fair and not the agreed upon price. They still owe me $1200. I recommend getting paid in advance when dealing with CardCash.com / ABC Gift Cards.

I have purchased a number of gift cards from different websites and never had a problem until I placed a large order with CardCash.com. They offered a special deal that if you bought over $1000 in cards you would receive an additional 3% discount besides the normal discount on the cards. I did so, and had to pay by bank draft from my checking account.

Shortly after receiving the cards I tried to use a $50 Golden Corral card to be told the card was invalid. I contacted the claims department at CardCash and provided the info required for a refund. I receive a return msg about a week later that a check would be sent.

A little later I tried using the $185.11 Walgreen's card to discover it was invalid also. Once again I filed a claim but this time got no reply what so ever. I kept calling but just got referred to a manager at ext 505 that was never in and never returned my calls. Finally, after numerous attempt the manager answered the phone and told me my money would be returned by check.

It's been over a month now and still no check. This company is a crook and under no circumstance should you let them get hold of any of you money. Buyer beware but if you do buy from them use a credit card so you have some protection.

Cashcard.com, ABC gift cards or cardcash.com is a complete rip-off. Do not do business with them.

My daughter found them online and sold a $500 gift card to the site for $350. We followed the instructions for payment, which they mentioned due to the high dollar amount of card we should send it with delivery confirmation.

We were informed by e-mail that our gift card was verified and a check was mailed USPS first class mail.

After the check never showed up we started calling. Liza was very polite and was going to notify Holly in financial that we had not gotten our check. She even gave us Holly's direct phone extension. That was great but Holly never answered the phone or ever returned a message.

We then spoke to Molly (Holly's twin sister i guess) who acted very concerned and asked us to e-mail her so she could forward it to Legal. E-mail sent, no respone!

Finally spoke to Gabby who was most concerned and going to research and follow up. At last, Gabby e-mailed us back informing us we had cashed the check. The one we never received.

You guessed it, now no one answers the phone.

CardCash.com. ABC Gift Cards told me they would pay me 72.80 for each of the 70 gift cards I sent them. Once they received them and went through them, I followed up and they asked me to sign for the payment. I waited another week and nothing. I emailed them and got a reply ""Your order has been processed for payment. You should be receiving your amazon gift card shortly"".

After the email I got I received another one from Julie stating that since it is a high value they can only pay 65.00 for each of the 70 cards. I had an agreement prior to shipping and they did not honor it. I asked to have my cards shipped back to me. They received them on 3/17. 2 weeks later and still I have no idea what is happening.

I have called 4 times. Once, they acted like they could no longer hear me and hung up. I called back and no answer. BEWARE of this company..
