CashForIphones.com Reviews

I had to accept the pathetic offer. Please do not send them your phones!

I wish I had read the online reviews before sending my phones to this company! I had an iPhone 5c and Samsung Galaxy. The offer I received online was $600 for two phones. I was happy with that, and it was the best offer I found online. The next day I got an email of offered price $200 from the company. I immediately called and declined their offer. I wanted my phones back. It took me almost 1 hour to get through to the "purchasing department", as it would put me in queue with hold music and then someone picked up. I told the young lady that the offer was not acceptable and I wanted my phones back. She proceeded to tell me that I was unrealistic if I expected more. She further said she would see what she could do. She raised her offer to approximately $250. I again said no, and asked for my phones back. She told me that wasn't an option because the process was automated and the phones had already been processed. I referred to the terms and conditions that state you have 5 days to reject their offer and they will return your phone at no cost. She told me she understood but the process is automated and cannot be stopped. Finally, I had no chance of getting my phones back. So, I had to accept the pathetic offer. Please DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR PHONES!

They took my iphone5, estimated value at $307, then claimed the phone was not perfect and paid me $200. I called and told them I was returning the money and wanted my phone back. They told me once I was sent the money, it cannot be returned. If you email them asking for an increase in the payment amount, you may or may not receive a reply back on time.

I managed to squeeze another $51 out of them, but a FAR cry from $307. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE WEBSITES!!!

I was quoted $310 by cashforiphones.com for iphone4 in an absolutely pristine condition. After 4 weeks, their so called inspection revealed “broken glass” in the back, as well as the front, due to which they offered me $100. I called and asked them to return it and got the same spiel as dalton, eventually settling for $180. I am not sure if an hour of waiting time on the phone, trying to get to speak with someone was actually worth the extra $80 or not. So much wasted time, and so much frustration. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the hell that i did.

Cashforiphones is a waste! i wish i had read the reviews earlier than i sent in my samsung phone. They sent $90, but quoted me a much higher price before. I just want you to know that it will take you a long time to get to them. Just let them have their way or be prepared to argue with everything you have! highly disappointed with their customer service!

I received a quote of $150 from cashforiphones for my iphone 4s 16gb. I decided to send my phone to them because it seemed like a really good offer. A week later, i got an email saying that i had received $60 in my paypal account from cash for iphones. I was baffled! i quickly called the company, waited for 25 minutes on hold, and then finally talked to a customer service rep. She told me that they couldn’t return my phone, but they could raise the payment amount up to $65. I was pissed because my phone didn’t cost 65 dollars!! not to buy, not to sell!! don’t sell your phone to cashforiphones, you will regret it.

Like everyone else, I have been screwed by cashforiphones

I wish I had found these cashforiphones reviews before I sold my three smart phones to them. I used their website to search for the value of my phones, and it estimated a value of $108 for each.

I packaged and mailed them right away because it was a pretty good deal. After having patiently waited for a couple of weeks, I decided to call to inquire. After staying on hold for almost half an hour, I was told that I will be receiving an email from them with the final quotes and all the related information. They also told me that they will require about 2-3 business days to evaluate my phones and make the payment via PayPal. I was pretty happy at this point because everything seemed to be working out pretty well. Little did I know that my happiness was short lived. Within the next couple of days, I received three emails from them; each with different order number attached to it. To my surprise, there was only one payment of $45 that was being invoiced. I called the customer service again, only to stay on hold for 45 minutes this time around. Once the waiting period was over, and I got to talk to an actual person, he told me that was no mistake and that the value paid was for of all three phones.

When I tried to explain the whole thing that was going on with my order, he simply gave me an excuse that the value of the phones change daily. I went back to cash for iphones.com and it is still quoting $108 per phone! I am beyond annoyed! All I can say is that you have to completely look into all your options before falling for a scam like this one.

Got paid $65 for my unlocked iPhone 4. Customer service is HORRIBLE and won't take my call. Spent so much time waiting on hold.

Don't fall for the offer. I thought it was too good to be true and in fact it was. I got pretty excited with the quote - $120 for my old iphone 4 so I sent my device as soon as I got the box that they sent.

I tried calling them up 2 days after I sent my phone (I was thinking, if it took them a few days to send me the box, it should take them the same time to have it back). My suspicions were proven right when I tried calling their 1800 number and no one was picking up the phone. After being put on hold for 30 mins, I got to talk to some guy named Brian - VERY RUDE. Acted like a total j*rk. I wanted my phone back and he won't let me. All he said was that the device got recycled because the screen was bad. My phone had a couple of deep scratches but the screen was not broken. I cannot believe I only got paid $67!

I will not for fall the same trick again. Stay away from this website!

Do not fall for cashforiphones scam! Quoted me 523 for my new iPhone 6 plus, after inspection offered me $88! I called to refuse this ridiculous offer in less than 15 hours after I rcvd it!

I was told that I could not refuse becsuse I was out of time and my phone was processed thru. I ask why? Because it says I have 5 days to contact you! I was then told that "the 5 days was something new and just started on 4-9-15 and since I sent my phone on 4-2-15 I was under old agreement.

I ask for gfor a copy of this and I ask how long the old "agreement" allowed for the customer to call. Was told no I will not give you that! I told u ur phone is processed already but I will get you some more money.

I replied "this is a total scam"! The rep became angry and said if you say scam I will hang up this phone and you will rcv only the $88 dollars quoted to you!!

i hate these ppl. I am a single mother that works 2 jobs and if something I post here today keeps one other person from being treated like dirt it is worth my time.

I I will continue to post my story every opportunity that have!!

Cashforiphones offered $297 for my iPhone5 32gb. At the time of the payment, however, they gave me $90. All attempts to reach someone within the 3 day window went to waste.

Emails won't work either. If I knew a way to fix this, I would've let everyone know. But because I don't, I'm just going to vent my anger here.

  • Apr 17, 2015

Cashforiphones is surely a scam! they held my phone hostage for several weeks before they paid me! they did not even notify me if they got my phone or what! they only paid me after several calls! dont use cash for iphones if you do not want to get stressed out for waiting!

  • Apr 17, 2015

I would like to report cashforiphones as a scam, because they did not follow the quote they promised me. I sent them my iphone 5s for $200 yet i got $150. It's so unfair! they should have at least told me that they would lessen the amount that i would receive. I was so surprised when i got my check. They were so hard to call as well, because no one would answer the phone.

  • Apr 17, 2015

You see, i sent my iphone 6 to cash for iphones a month ago, because they quoted me a high price for it. Higher than the other sites, in fact. So after a week of sending them, i did not receive any update from them via email or call. I called them and for many minutes, no one answered the phone. It kept on for almost a week! the customer service is bad, and i was pretty sure i would get scammed. Luckily, after gazillions of missed calls, someone finally answered.

  • Apr 17, 2015

I was looking for ways to get cash to pay my rent, and my friend told me to just sell my extra iphone. He said that i should try cashforiphones.com, so i did. I followed the instructions, like get a quote online, fill out the form, send them the device after receiving the free shipping box, etc. Etc. But then i had to wait for a month to get my check! i kept calling them, but no one would answer the effing phone! it's really frustrating! well, at least i got my payment a month later, but still! that's a whole month of waiting!

  • Apr 17, 2015

I sent my phone to cashforiphones.com thinking that i would finally get enough cash to my debt to my sister. Actually, i was surprised when i saw the quote that was 10% higher than those from other buyback sites. Obviously, i took the bait. So i sent them my phone and waited for a few weeks. When i got the check, the cash was 10% less than the quotes from other sites! i was so pissed. So i called them, but they explained that there were a lot scratches on my phone. So i conceded. Well, at least i was able to pay back my sister.

  • Apr 6, 2015

The Cashforiphones provides very reasonable price on their website to convince you to sell them your iPhone. once they received my iphone 5C they repiced it ten time less than what they originally quoted. i rejected their new price immediately after I received their new price and requested to return my iPhone. They responded by providing their purchasing phone number to call for any return. i called and asked them to return my iphone but they put me on hold to talk to another person from purchasing. After 15 minutes on hold they cut off the line. during three days I called more than 10 times and they did the same thing every time. On the forth day they finally picked up the phone and told me that the three days limit is passed and they will not return my phone and that I have no other option except to accept their price.

Basically once you ship your iPhone you will never see it back. They initially quoted my one year old iPhone 5C which was in mint condition at $127 but later they priced it for $11 with no option to return. This is a complete rip-off and scam business. They will try to justify their action by saying your iphone was not in mint condition but I know mine was since I used a cover at all time and had no scratches at all.

I found Cashforiphones on a web search at the end of February 2015. I initially appreciated that it was fast, provided a free box and shipping and seemed to offer a price towards the top of the spectrum. My iPhone5 was from AT&T, 16GB and had been used for over 2 years.

At this time, the iPhone6 had been out for some time so the 5 was not fetching as much as before. Cashforiphones offered $197 based on an online quote. The questionnaire was short and just asked for the phone, service provider and if it powered on or not (which it did).

Soon after I filled out the form, I received a few emails about what to do next. They said the faster I shipped my phone, the more incentives I would be eligible to get. I quickly received the box, the directions were simple and straightforward. It made sending my phone very easy.

It only took about 4 business days before they said that they received the package and that they were testing the phone. All is well up to here.

Then, I received an email from them telling me that they would give me 11 dollars for the phone.

Let me be clear that there wasn't any type of scale for how little they would offer or any type of criteria.

I had to call the company 7 times as I was disconnected the first 6 times. Apparently they drop the calls after 10 minutes of waiting.

When I finally got through to their payment department, the woman told me that I could not have my phone back because they had already processed it, despite it only being 2 days after I got their offer. She told me that because she was a supervisor, she could give me 50 dollars. I kept asking for my phone back and she repeatedly told me that it was impossible while asking what the minimum was that I would accept.

She ended up at 65 dollars. They claimed that there were scratches all over the phone and there were not as it had stayed in a case from day 1.

I am truly disappointed by their entire organization. This money was to help purchase an iPad for children in a Title I school.

Currently, the lowest you can get a used-acceptable version of this phone is for 165 on Amazon.

I decided to use a different company to sell my used phone. This was a brand new iphone 6plus 16g. The only problem with it was the screen had cracked. I was offered a quote of a little over 300$. Thats when things went downhill. It took an extremly long time to get my box to send it to the cash for iphones, they promised to send an email letting me know my box was coming, however they sent it the day after I recieved the box. Next I was told to send it with in three days for a guarenteed prize. Days later I got asn email sent to me on a friday night after hours saying my iphine is worth 36$. So i quickly emailed them back saying no thats not okay or correct. I called the next day to speak to someone who assured me I would have 3 business days and not to worry about it and call monday.

So I Called monday morning was treated as if I had no brain, like I didnt know a thing about what my new phone was worth, after arguing with mealanie and she told me she could not send my phone back it was to late, I told her to immediatley send my phone, and to add more insult she said I will give 75 dollars for it, I said to her I will be reporting you, this is a scam to the better buseniss burue and there will be consquences if my phone was not sent back to me. I was not joking After reading about this company and how they are scammers they need to be shut down. I have the emails to prove my story, they have unrealistic hours, they refuse to give out there information and they are hiding, the way the try and tell people what they can and cant do is wrong, and Im seriously considering file a law suit for damages they caused me.

It's embarrassing to admit that you were scammed. However, in the interest of doing what's right, I need to make sure other people are aware of this scam and admit I was scammed. I’m writing this memo to keep you, your family and friends from having this happen to them. So here’s my story..

I recently re-signed with Verizon and purchased two new iPhones. Since I wanted to talk to Verizon about giving me a better deal, one similar to what they give new subscribers, I contacted them by phone. After getting a reduced price I ordered two phones from them and ask them if I could sell my phone to Verizon at the local store. They said that I could. I decided to look on the Internet and see what my two iPhone5s were worth. I went to cashforphone.com to get an estimate.

The website was a glowing report on how fast, easy and reliable it was, with all sorts of endorsements from the Better Business Bureau, Wall Street Journal, etc. Within a few minutes I had a quote for over $200 each and a place to print out a label to send them my phones postage free, with a promised turn-around of a few days after they received my phones. I figured that any company that had been in this business for 12 years would have to be a legitimate company with a good reputation to have stayed in business. I couldn't have been more wrong!

In retrospect, what I should have done was do a Google search on the company as a possible spammer and this is what I would have found. The company that was founded 12 years ago is named Laptop and Desktop Repair, LLC in Sparks, Nevada. Six and a half years ago this company formed cashforlaptops.com, cashforiphones.com, cashforipads.com, cashforsmartphones.com and cashforbarrys.com websites. Apparently to scam the public. The last three sites have been closed down and rerouted to ecyclebest.com.

A google search on any or all of these websites for possible scams lists hundreds of complaints, all telling the same story. They quote you a slightly higher price then the market value to get your phone. After they receive your phone they send you an email that tells you your phone is worth 10 to 15% of what they quoted you and then when you try and get your phones back they tell you that it's too late and you have to accept the new quote, there is no recourse. Not only that, it takes four or five phone calls to even talk to someone and they know why you're calling and they don't care because they get these calls all day long, so they're very rude and make it clear that you have no other options.

Here is the justification they use on practically every call. “When you agreed to send us your phone you agreed to the terms and conditions, which said you needed to notify us within three days if you did not agree to the new price”. (This is one line in a four page document of very fine print.) When you get the email with the bogus number, they don't tell you you have to call them on the phone to reject the quote; they tell you they're sending the check and when I emailed them back that I did not accept their offer, they probably didn't even read it.

Just for the record, the price they offered me was about half the price of an iPhone5 that wouldn't turn on, had a damaged or defective screen and had a bad battery (all of the things they list to use to determine the actual value). In their evaluations, both of my absolutely pristine phones had all of these problems and I guess more, to arrive at that price. Clearly, this company is extremely fraudulent and needs to be put out of business. So I’m on a quest.

If you still want to sell your electronics on the internet, Amazon and eBay both offer a way to sell these devices. These are reputable organizations who believe that it’s important to have a satisfied customer in order to stay in business.

Upon reflection, I lost a fair amount of money, which I never expect to recover. In order to accept that fact, I have to look at that money as an investment in educating myself on being a more informed, critical consumer. Hopefully, you too will get some education from that investment as well.

Cashforiphones.com ripped me off. I was quoted $207 for my iphone 5 in excellent condition and after they got my phone they tried to give me $16 which I did not accepted. I told them thAT same day that they sent me the email stating that they were going to give me $16 dollars for my phone after quoting me $207 that I didnt not want the $16 and to give me my phone back. I never received and email response. I called like 12 times, getting cut off every time and I also emailed them like 6 times. I just want my phone back or they money they quoted. I cant not stand when people rip hardworking people off. I am reporting them to the BBB and trying to get a class action suite on them.

  • Feb 7, 2015

Cashforiphones offered a quote for $110 for my working black iPhone 4s. I sent it within the time they asked. They never sent any confirmation emails, recipte, or tried to contact me at all. About two weeks later I get an email offereing me $18 to a paypal account. I don't even have a paypal account.

After calling and arguing with them on the phone they said they would sent a check in the mail. Well, about two weeks later, I have recieved a check for $18. So, where is the rest of my money?

I did some reading of their terms and conditions. In summary, they say they will inspect the devices when recieved and send an email letting you know if their offer has decreased. Then, they will email you in which you will have three days to accecpt or decline their new offer. (I never recieved this email, so of course I didn't respond). They go on to say; if you do not respond then you will accecpt their new offer.

I am certain they scam people like this continusouly. After having issues with them and reading online. I am not the only one to have been scammed by them. I extentend my unfortunate experience to be a learning experience for the rest of you - be careful.

This company is on the internet offering top prices for laptops, phones, etc. sight unseen. They tell you the item is worth about 8 times more on the internet, then when you send it in, suddenly it's not in good shape and they offer you about 15 cents on the dollar. A total ripoff and scam.

They offered me $203 for my used iphone that was in very good shape, never been out of an otterbox, had a screen protector for the time I owned it. Bought it new. They said phone was all scratched up and offer me $31. They are very hard to reach, spent over 20 minutes each on 4 phone calls before I got through. Then guess what, I didn't call soon enough to get my phone back. Numerous other complaints on the internet...do not sell anything to them!

  • Jan 24, 2015

Was offered $180 for my like new iPhone 5. Sent in the phone. At first they said there was an ESN issue. Then before confirming it had been resolved they offered me $12 for a perfectly good iPhone 5. I left numerous voicemails and emails telling them I wanted my phone back. You have 3 days but kind of hard for that to work when no one answers the phone. BBB Report filed. I'm also talking with an attorney. I am going to file a suit in small claims court against these guys. They pretty much stole my phone. I never approved of the $12 especially for no explanation as to why they are only offering $12. If you need an attorney to represent you...let me know. I know an attorney who eats these type of guys for lunch.

  • Jan 1, 2015

I sent my brand new, never used not even one time, iphone 6 plus 16 gb to them after receiving a quote of $512. They seriously sent me an offer of $39. I'm not even joking. I called the next morning to decline the offer. I was transferred to the 'purchasing department' where you are automatically disconnected after 10 minutes. I called 16 times before someone answered in the 'purchasing dept'. I was told that payment was already sent, there was nothing they could do. I remained as calm as possible and reminded this bitch that I had 3 days to decline the offer, it had been only 1 day, and I was indeed declining their offer. She then offered me $60 which I also rejected. She then agreed to return the phone, after several minutes of bickering. This could take several weeks, but I won't stop until I get my phone returned. Trust me. I live for situations like this.

  • Dec 26, 2014

This company offered me $46 on a 2 month old 32GB iphone 5s from Verizon. They hung up on me several times after i showed displeasure in how i was being treated as a customer and ultimately sent my phone back after refusing to do so for several days. They will not email you back other than saying "we do not email, call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx"

This company is full of s*** and needs to be taken care of. Please do not use this company as it is a huge rip off.

  • Dec 23, 2014

If I could rate cashforiphones.com a zero I would. I recently traded in my iPhone 5 32GB black phone in decent condition and was quoted $267 for the phone prior to it being assessed. In all fairness this phone was fairly beat up. During the online prescreen I noted that the phone wasn’t in great shape and that the screen was cracked. This dropped the price from $320 to $267 but it still seemed reasonable. Once cashforiphones.com received my phone the quote had now changed to $20!!!!! Pretty huge variance since I’ve resold a few phones before and have never received price quote vs payment disparity like this before. Felt like a scam in my opinion. Unsatisfied with my selling price I emailed their customer service, with my order history stating that I wanted my phone returned. When they finally responded I was told I had to call to have my phone returned. After leaving four voicemails and three emails my complaints were disregarded and a PayPal payment of $20 was sent to the email I had been corresponding with. The problem with this is I do not have PayPal and it clearly states on their website that you have the option of being paid via check or PayPal but I was never given this option. It’s now been over a month and I have repeatedly called and emailed stating that I have yet to receive any payment from them and that their PayPal payment could not be received with zero response. Absolute garbage service that I will not use again. Users beware.

  • Nov 14, 2014

Found them online and I fell for it. Their estimate for my iphone was $230. Once they received it their offer dropped to $35. The phone was in perfect condition.

I immediately responded to their email witht the offfer asking for my phone to be returned. Their reply came 23 hours later asking me to call them, that these requests are not handled over email. So, I had already lost one day in their three day grace period to dispute the offer. Trying to talk to them on the phone is almost impossible. Many disconnected calls, unbelievably long hold times, and more disconnected calls.

when I was finally able to talk to somebody they told me that the gace period had expired and there was nothing they could do.

  • Oct 15, 2014

I was quoted from cashforiphones.com the amount of $407 each for two iphone5s, 64GB, pristine phones

After over a week, after they received them, I had to call them and find out what was going on. After being on hold for 53 minutes, I finally got a guy named "Mike" who told me he would give me $60 for one of the phones and $63 had already been sent for the other phone.

This was totally unacceptable to me and I let him know that. After arguing for several minutes, he agreed to return my phones.

It has been 6 days since our conversation and today I received the $63 check that I said I would not accept!

Now when I try to reach them by phone, the numbers are no longer in service.

it is also too late to get the amounts quoted from other companies for my phones and I probably will never get my phones back anyway!

What can I do??

Please help me.

  • Sep 6, 2014

If you value your phones and expect to sell them to this company for a fair price; stay far away! I provided two iPhones, a 32Gb iPhone 5 and a 16Gb iPhone 4. I was offered $157 for the 4 and $283 for the iPhone 5. I received the mail-in box and forwarded my phones to this company. Several weeks later I received a check for $68 for both phones from a company with a different name. When I tried to contact the company via e-mail, I received an autoresponse that they were sorry I wasn't happy with the money I received. The odd thing was that no matter what I typed to them it was always the same respose. No customer assistance at all. You've lost your phone for a fraction of what they quote you.

  • Aug 21, 2014

The way cash for iphones works is you imput what type of phone you have and what condition it is in. Once you do that it gives you a quote on how much they offer you (pending there technicians take a look at your phone.) I agreed to my quotes and they mailed me a box to put my phones in and send them back.

A week or so after they received my phones I got an email from paypal stating the company sent me money, even though I had never gotten an official price from them. My initial quotes were $267.00 for my Iphone 5 and $118.00 for my Iphone 4s. They sent me $40.00 for the 5 and $13.00 for the 4s, again without my final approval on the price.

I tried to contact the company multiple times. Sat on hold an average of 30min each time and left them 2 voicemails. Never heard anything back from them.

When I initially created the account I had to do one for me and one for my husband because it wouldn't let me do both phones at once.

After not hearing from the company I did more in depth research online and found a lot of comments from people stating the company did the same thing to them.

I filed a claim with the better business bureau. First the company responded stating they couldn't find my information in there system at all. So I attached all our emails and screen shots of the quotes and the final prices and my account on there website.

After about 2 weeks of waiting they stated that they have my email address on file but not my name. So somehow my account with them was changed to my husbands name only and because they didn't have my name they won't deal with me and they consider the matter closed.

It is a total scam and rip off. I even told them either give me the money I was promised or send me my phones back! And nothing..... someone needs to shut this company down! Please please please do not use this company! They are total scam artists and thieves and you will lose your phone and not get crap for money for it!!!!

  • Aug 11, 2014

Okay site

Slow transaction process, but they gave a fairly high price for my device.

  • Aug 8, 2014

I contacted them via the internet about selling my Iphone 4s. I noted it had a cracked screen. They quoted me $92.00. Their "rules" state that if there is a difference in price once they receive the phone, they will send an email. It was two weeks later and I received notice from Paypal that they had deposited $9.00 in my paypal account! No email allowing me to reject their ridiculous "offer",or any communication at all. Sprint offered me $60.00.

I tried calling 5 different times. Each time they had a "Hgh volume of calls", and after20 minutes or so, I was sent to a recording instructing me to leave my name and number and they would "call back within 24 hours". I have never heard from them.

  • Apr 24, 2014

There seems to be a recurring theme with this company.

They quoted me a price for my iPhone 5 (in excellent condition with a case and screen protector which protected the entire phone). It wasn't the highest quote I received ($270). But, they sent an email after not hearing back about my quote stating they'd ""BEAT"" any other quote. OK. I forwarded the email from their competitor showing a quote of $270, they came back with an email...""GOOD NEWS-WE'LL OFFER YOU $275 FOR YOUR IPHONE"".

Good news indeed. The email instructed me to either send for their free shipping box to be sent, or to print out their free shipping label to use my own box (which I did). I shipped everything, the iPhone, the original box, the unused headphones it came with and the plug and lightning connector that it came with.

4 days go by...no contact. 5th day, I contact them. They tell me it was inpsected....and, the adjusted price was now $110. Huh? The ""representative"" said a new iPhone was imminent and that the old ones (an iPhone 5 is old?) really dropped in value. Really? Just 5 days ago they told me it was worth $275. I told him to just send the phone back to me. He asked what was my bottom dollar I would take. I told him the amount he quoted.

Asking me to wait on line while he talked to his ""boss"", he came back a minute later, stating since I was a good customer (I had never done business with them before) they upped the price to $180. Again, I told him to just ship it back. After more silly banter about the phone having a mark on the back (it didn't....I don't even think he had even seen the phone).

He said it would take about 2 weeks to send it back. I gave him more pushback about it already taking so long (so much for their ""quick transaction"" promise.

A week goes by...I hear nothing. I do receive 3-4 emails stating they have my phone, but no news on sending it back. Finally, I call and get a lady on the phone. After identifying myself, and my iPhone via the order #, she stated she looked at the phone and said they'd up their offer to $200. Again, I asked her why the phone hadn't been sent back to me as I requested. She said it was already in their system and that it would take ""weeks"" to be returned. Then, the question they keep asking ""what's the least you'll take for the phone?"" I keep stating that it's the number they quoted originally. This went on for another week...me calling them to get the return tracking number for my phone, and them stating it's going to take weeks to send it back.

Long and short of this, I ended up taking an offer of $210 from them. It wasn't what they quoted, and it was far from the best offer I had received from Gazelle ($245) or USell ($232). But, I was going to have to file a theft report and contact the Attorney General's Office, which would have probably taken months to resolve. Plus, there was no guarantee they'd send my phone back to me in the pristine condition I sent it to them.

Moral of the story? The quoted prices on their WEB site are lies. That's only meant to get you to send your phone to them. Once they have your phone, they hit you with a ridiculous ""sales number"" that has no relationship to the reality of what your phone is worth to other, more reputable sites. And, they threaten to take forever to send your phone back to you if you give them pushback about their ""revised offer"".

Stay away from them....far, far away!!!!!
