Casting360 Reviews

I found a link to an ad posted on a job board as a local job as an extra in a nearby town. There was a field with instructions to leave my phone number, and on clicking through that I immediately had a phone call.

A woman named Zoe answered, who sounded much like a robovoice, but responded to my comments. She said they had a web site where I could post images of myself and I could find work through that. The cost was to be $1.95 for the page, a one time fee.

Immediately after getting my credit card information she informed me of a second service where I could search job offerings that I was signed up for and after the 14 day trial I would be billed 44.95/month. She had given me a service number, 800-508-0298, which I called immediately to cancel the service, and on the first call they would not cancel. After another 4 calls where I was put on hold for extensive periods or simply cut off I finally got someone to tell me the "membership" was cancelled and I should find no charges to my account.

I did find 2 emails saying my account had been cancelled after this. I'll have to see if any charges do show up. I think it's evident that they have no local jobs and do not hire anyone, and should not be advertising on job boards.

You found this review because you are considering using Casting 360 and you want to be sure you are not going to waste time and money. I did the same thing and saw a few complaints, did not think it was a big deal because I am really good looking and have an awesome personality plus I am good at marketing. So I am sure I will find work. Plus worst case you can cancel after two weeks.

Well let me stop you right now, I did that, I took all the steps, and you find out that you only get notifications that go out to everyone with an account, so the casting calls you get are not for you, they are postings like on craigs list to everyone then you have to respond. After nobody had a job offer for me I thought keep trying and finish the video lessons because they say if you do the lessons it shows up on the other end that you have done so and this is more appealing to the casting people.

Did it, and saw no change, the only responses I got were scams that did not go anyewere. I even got pro head shots and all. Not one single good lead after doing it for months.

To make it worse my wife signed up at the same time and she got the same experiance. They did refund us each our last month, but its just a waste of time and money. However the video lessons were good, so if you really want to do TV and you want to learn, I would say yes to the video lessons, but no for the casting 360 service. WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!
