My daughter, a college student, was contacted by a smooth fast talking sales person from CHOICE PERIODICALS. He scammed her into buying magazines which she thought she would be paying $11.99 cents. It was for $1199.0 to lock her into paying $79.84 for 15 months. She does not have this kind of money. I got on the phone to cancel this and they want $199.98 to cancel. The customer service rep is EXTREMELY RUDE, and unprofessional. You can tell he is put in customer servivce to bully who ever wants to cancel this agreement. He is as bad if not worse than the person who sold the magazines to my daughter. He played back the recording of the conversation with my daughter, but the recording was very bad quality. At this point she needs to pay $199.98 to cancel and she has not even received a magazine! I am sure they know they get over on young folks and elderly on this type of fast talking selling style. This is appalling!
