In October 2014 I was referred to Chris Ellington of Mesa AZ to help with my divorce. He was far less expensive than a lawyer and claimed to be able to do everything a lawyer could do For me. I had an Order of Protction on my husband and Chris knew this. My information was to be strictly confidential And I trusted Chris To do so.
i hired Chris to complete my divorce paperwork and he completed it. He was paid the $300.00 he asked for. In the paperwork, I had to submit SS#'s of myself, my 3 children, and husband...as well as all of my husbands contact information.
i filed the paperwork myself at Phoenix Superior Courthouse. When the paperwork didn't come and my husband wasn't served, the clerk told me that Chris Ellington posed as my attorney and asked that all documents be sent directly to him and that he was going to serve my husband. I never retained him as my attorney and he acted on his own. I had to jump through hoops to get new copies and have my husband served. chris committed mail fraud and posed as my attorney.
after this, I learned through family members my husband spoke to that Chris Ellington propositioned my husband for money to give information on the divorce. He also endangered me by sending him multiple pictures he took spying on me telling him where I was living. He also took pictures of myself with another man saying that we were involved in a physically abusive, drug fueled dangerous relationship. He gave sworn written testimony to this that my husbands lawyer used in court at the divorce. The reason for this was so that I lost all rights to see my children or have any say in their decisions Of parenting.
chris painted a picture that my current living situation was dangerous for my children. The judge sided with my husband and I lost all rights of custody and parenting because of Chris's interference. I am certain he was paid by my husband for his written testimony and pictures. So Chris made money off both of us in the same divorce.
he also told my husband I was going after everything in the divorce, when I wanted nothing. So he go an attorney and I got totally screwed. Thanks chris Ellington!
this man is a scumbag that offers legal services. He will ask for SS #'s, driver license #'s and the contact info of the other party. Then he will go to the other party and betray you to make more money with the info you gave him by using it against you.
